Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The feline sat on the border like an immovable object. He dared not enter the clan without invite, however it looked like he had the intention to come in, to make this his home. He was well-seasoned at this, finding new homes. He knew what one must do to join, an equal part flattery and honesty. He had done this before. He let out a sigh as a soft wind picked up and pressed against his fur. It wasn't a particularly frosted wind; he had noticed that even in leaf bare this place was warmer than the others. Perhaps that was why he chose this place now out of all moments. He wasn't ready to brave the high mountains or frozen wonderlands. She was completely aloof; her mind was elsewhere. The calico was walking through a hill that seemed to be cloven by a StarClan cat's mighty claw. The gap was a nearly three fox-lengths wide and seemed to be perfectly cut right down the middle. The earthly walls in the wound were swollen with the roots of trees. Her pace is leisurely here. The walls... They... looked about five fox-lengths. The sun blinds her as she traipsed on without any sense of urgency, but she keenly avoids hazards as she makes her way through it anyway. The yellow eyes that peered ahead of the feline were on auto-pilot. She'd been here countless times, day after day. It was en route of a nearby lake, where Flyleaf took her time catching fish... but she was here for one thing.
Today was perhaps a special day, she could feel it in her gut. She'd been expecting it to happen soon, she'd waited all winter. Against the rays of the sun, she could see the cluster a little further up ahead. Her eyes seemed to awaken in that moment. She slowed a bit to focus her eyes on it, then padded up briskly with her tail waving happily behind. She smiled wide and bristled. Finally... buds! In front of her spurted Lily Of The Valley, plants with big, oval leaves and drooping, bell-like flower buds. Some were already turning from green to white. Flyleaf cooed, analyzing how much they'd grown overnight.
