Her eyes stared at the feline, shock pooling in them. The two were alone in the cavern, silence taking hold. Oceaneyes had been given the biggest news she'd ever heard in her life, and it felt like the ground was shaking underneath her. She sucked in a slow breath, after realizing that she had been holding it for so long. "Are you sure?" Of course the cat was sure, if Lacelily had been unsure, she wouldn't have said it, right?
Her head began to pound, and blood rushed in her ears as she struggled to think.
Leader? Restore the clan to its roots? What did all this mean?
Her brows furrowed, and she for once, found a gratitude to the darkness of the tunnels the regime stayed within. Her facial expression was anything but inviting.
"Lacelily..." She began, her words seeming to fail her.
