Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Since we are a little behind on patrols, we are doing an open patrol for anyone who wants to volunteer to go! Anyone is welcome!)
Larkwing had asked for volunteers to go on a border patrol. This was his first one as deputy and it was nerve wracking. He has been on patrols countless times before but this time he was in charge. He waited at the camp entrance for his patrol to gather. The sun was just beginning to sink below the horizon and the air was getting colder. He shivered as a cold gust of wind ruffled his fur.
Fernshadow shivered at a particularly strong burst of cold wintery air. "Brrr, it's times like these in leafbare I wish we were out more during the day." She mumbled fluffing up her fur in an effort to combat against the cold.
(Sure anyone can jump in whenever and say they're in the patrol)
Fernshadow huffed, "Well nothing for it, we'd best be off, the sooner we check our borders the sooner I can get back into the nice warm den and curl up in my nest."
He purred, "agreed" he slipped out of the camp and out into the chilly forest. "I think we should start at the Sunclan border. Make sure they aren't stirring up anymore trouble."

Spiderpaw came barreling out of the camp, almost running over the two warriors "SORRY IM LATE" he called as he skidded to a stop just past the warriors and spun around to face them. His sides heaved as he tried to catch his breathe. "I fell asleep and didn't know that the patrol had started"
Larkwing flinched as Spiderpaw slid passed them. He relaxed and listened to the apprentice's apology and explanation. "No worries, young one. It happens to the best of us. Next time do better, okay?" Larkwing's voice was calm and his blue eyes held understanding. "Lets get moving, shall we?" He headed toward the Sunclan border.
Fernshadow let out a mrrow of amusement. "It's all good Spiderpaw you didn't miss much anyways, just the usual fare of 'this is what we're doing.' We're gonna go check and make sure SunClan's not up to anything. Especially after that whole..." She trailed off shuddering at the thought of the execution and the freeing of the prisoners they'd had to attend to.

"I promise to do my best" he replied puffing out his chest, the fur along his sides bristeling slightly. It was embarrassing to be late, but to be late in front of deputy was inexcusable. He followed along, not wanting to keep the patrol waiting. He didn't really know everything that had happened with SunClan, nor did he care all that much. The only reason he had paid any attention was because NightClan had been present, and Burningstar had lost a life apparently. That was not ok. He had always despised the other clans, and recent events only searved to reinforce this.
Larkwing's eyes softened in empathy at Fernshadow's shudder. "And you were very brave" he complimented her, hoping to lift her spirits a little. Then he looked at the bristling apprentice, "Spiderpaw, if we see any Sunclan cats, we are not to start a fight, understand? This is only a border patrol. If anything is unusual, we will report it to Burningstar. If Sunclan try to start a fight, we stand our ground but we do not fight unless they attack us. We are not looking for trouble."
