Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Have a good idea for a Classic competition? Go ahead and share! Share a list, share one or two, however many ideas you have!
When you suggest a contest I'll look through them and pick a few at the end of each month and have our members vote which contests they want to see for the coming month.
Contests can be anything from writing contests, to having an actual impact on the website, to having something to do with real life such as a cutest pet competition.
Here are some past ideas members have come up with. You're welcome to bring up past competitions especially because it's a new year! PAST COMPETITIONS
By shipping contest do you mean people voting for couples? Or do you mean people shipping cats? Would people nominate their couples and people could read and vote? Or would it be like those that want to participate make a cat until there's a group of cats and then people ship them together? And whoever had the most popular ship wins?
Worst tragedy? I've got plenty of cats or have seen plenty of threads where a cat's life is just dramatic or tragic or miserable
For the shipping one, we could do brackets? Because some people may not realize their a couple aka me cus unless it's my cat I have no clue and even then sometimes I don't but like every week another couple eliminated. Similar to those disney ones if you've ever seen those, its the most popular one I could think of
oooh yeah kinda like the bachelor? that’d be awesome!
also i’d love to do a horror roleplay competition, see who has the most creatively dangerous mind out of the bunch. we’d keep it within the rules of course.

I'm thinking about maybe making annual contests giving away a comic strip request. [This portion inspired by JetClaw's Comic Request xDDD], gif animations, or even Gift Card Giveaways.
Basically it will be a post count contest, who ever gets the most in a specific amount of time will receive the prize.
The rule would be that spam and sign ups do not count and any signs of doing so will result in a permanent removal from the contest.
The 1st place prize will be based on how the participants do as a whole.
Ex: Lets say four users participate in the contest 3 different times.
Time A: °A: 100 °B: 64 °C: 12 °D: 54 Time B: °A: 89 °B: 46 °C: 51 °D: 32 Time C: °A: 31 °B: 29 °C:18 °D: 30
Time Info on Time A: A Wins the 1st Place Prize, because the overall post count is mostly over 50 there will be a first, second, and third place prize for this month. A will win the Giftcard, C will win the Gif Animation, and C the Comic Strip.
Time B: A wins Again, but because they one last month they will not win the 1st place prize this time. Overall the scores are mainly above 25 but below 50, therefore only a first and second place prize will be given. Based on Scores, B will win a Gif Animation and A wins a Comic Strip.
Time C: A wins this time but qualifies for first place as they did not get the first place prize last time. All scores are below 50 but are above 25. A wins a gif animation and D wins the comic strip
What do you guys think? Would this be a good method to promote activity? I also thought of having OC Design Contest where a Clan (who needs members perhaps?) is chosen as a theme and people design a character to submit into the clan. Then the Clan Leader and the Contest Organizer both choose the character viewed as most creative and representative of the Clan!

Here are my suggestions: - choose your own adventure basically, a choose your own adventure where you gotta choose the right choices so your cat doesn't get killed. winners get a badge for best "choose your own adventure boi." I can volunteer to write the story and endings. - best character bio created by cause of death random death generator www.character-generator.org.uk/cause-of-death/ or random dating profile generator: www.dating-profile-generator.org.uk/create.php?type=1 Basically, you have to randomly generate what your characters death or dating profile might be, and then come up with a personality and history based off of that. - This isn't a contest but add your character to the story generator and then roleplay out what the story generates. aaaaaaand i'm back lol but i just had a wonderful idea! what if we do a survivor challenge but with cats? for those that don't know what survivor is, it's a tv show where people compete and try to survive. you get split into two teams, and you must compete against each other by taking part in various activities. losing team must vote a player out at tribal council.
How about best kit clans? Basically like the clan creation contests of old but as goofy little clans populated only by kits. Of course these would be like a group contest with several people working together as they would be thread based.
