biyuu ☆彡 glosspaw is getting dragged out for a training/lunar alignment soul searching journey with windsweptashes <3
Ah yes, Glosspaw was indeed a cat.
Windsweptashes didn't really know why he had been set with training this particular student, but really, he supposed either him or Puzzlemaker would have worked equally well for the tom. He hadn't been declared waxing or waning yet, which made him something of a slight oddity within the clan, but it at least gave the Commissioner some sense of purpose to their training session. He intended to figure out which would better suit the tom, and then perhaps even give him his alignment soon once he figured what would work best for him... He could do that right? That was kind of allowed by his job description, wasn't it?
Windsweptashes tried not to think about it too hard. Gently poking his head into one of the common rooms that apprentices made their nests in, the tom tried to glance around for the the cat he intended to take out for training that day. "Glosspaw? Are you in here?" He called in softly, trying not to disturb any of the other students who might have been socailizing nearby.
From his spot right beside the entrance to the den, Glosspaw's head jerked up. The apprentice had decided to wake up early and wait by the door to ensure he was ready to go anywhere and do anything if Windsweptashes called for him. The problem was that he'd woken up far too early and thus fallen asleep on his paws, only just now waking up at the sound of Windsweptashes' voice. "Nggh--what? Uhh, I mean--yessir, I'm right here! Wide awake and ready to go!!!"
Windsweptashes half jumped at the voice practically coming from right beside him, shocked to see the student sitting right there. Even still, he turned a warm, slightly embaressed glance towards Glosspaw, forcing his fur to lie flat and to pretend like he hadn't almost been given a heart attack by the apprentice's presence.
"Well, glad to see you're prepared." He said, his voice warm, if not still slightly breathless from his own scare, too shaken to have even realized the apprentice had been asleep moments ago. Really, the fact that the apprentice had been so prepared he was unprepared had accidentally without any preperation worked out in his favor. "So," Windsweptashes said, pressing a little more into the room so he could actually see the tom, "do you know what we're doing today?" The question was sort of moot, he figured Glosspaw didn't, and if he did it would only be a hunch. But it felt like a thing to say, he'd heard it often enough when he had been doing his own training, and so the Commissioner said it more by instinct than anything else.
