Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
@eventide this is something of a training thread between windsweptashes and empyrealpaw; a small, mysterious adventure up to the the Lunar Estate's attic <3
Windsweptashes rarely went to the attic, they hardly knew anyone who did. They had gone their once a long time ago, and he vaguely recalled it had been a dark, dust ridden place; oppressive in cold, foreboding way. Like the kind of place one could store bodies and no one else would be the wiser, and the very thought sent a chill down the tom's spine. They couldn't take the thought of more death and destruction, there had been far too much recently.
Either way, the very fact it was untouched was something of a problem; it was a perfectly good space for all sorts of things that had just been left to rot, and clearing it out seemed like a nice, productive thing to do. The only problem was that clearing out the entire thing alone seemed unweildly, and the very thought of doing it all by himself was miserable. He supposed he could force some poor students to manage it, but then that made him feel guilty; it wasn't fair to force abunch of what was barely more than children to clean out a dark attic alone. Not to mention, they should be out to be training, learning things, and what was worse was that a fair amount of them were supposed to be training with him.
But in that came a sort of mental compromise. He'd been intending to spend a day of training with Empyrealpaw -- in fact, she had been one of the few he had been a little less concerned about training than the others. She seemed kind and optimistic, truly a perfect citizen of the new regime Moonclan had come under, and that helped soothe his normal unease about training these students up. And this seemed like a perfect opportunity for a lesson in the typical waning duties; house keeping and organization. They could even get it all nice and set up and decorated after the place was as cleaned out as they could manage it alone, it would all serve for a good introductory class. At least, he hoped that it would.
Padding into one of the many rooms that the apprentices made their nests in, he caught sight of the she cat and gave a small wave of his tail in greeting. "Good evening Empyrealpaw, would you be willing to help me out with something?" He inquired, his voice as soft as ever; it was almost enough to forget the tom himself was the commissioner, as close to the head authority of Moonclan as you could get without meeting with Puzzlemaker or Selene herself.
