{Come visit Twilightpromise in the cathedral for small wounds, big wounds, or literally anything. come annoy our medic .-.}
Water dripped in the back corner of the cathedral, from a crack in the foundation. in the center of the large echoing room sat the grey and black devon rex, moonlight shining on her through the cracked stain glass. At Twilightpromise's paws where a few herbs she had gathered, She hummed a hymn to herself as she sorted through them, organizing each bundle then tying them shut.
It scared her, being the new medic. She had a decent knowledge of herbs but she still had much to learn, it was going well though, and she was figuring things out quickly, keeping her nervousness hidden from her clanmates. "That just about does it, bless Selene for such a bountiful amount of herbs!" she gave a pleasantly exasperated mew as she started gathering her bundles to bring to a old twoleg box she decided to store her herbs in.
"Hope I'm not being a bother," The sentence started out, and while the words themselves were polite enough, the tone itself was exasperated, dr, and stiff as a board. Padding into the cathederal was the calico shape of a larger she cat, one who, if you were to just give a cursory glance, likely looked much older than a cat of her age should have. In part, because she was just naturally that tall and imposing, but perhaps more so because she looked absolutely worked to the bone, exhuasted, and annoyed beyond words; like underneath the rigid frown she was carrying on her face she was either so tired she was barely standing or she was seething inside.
"But I'm trying to avoid an infection. I got bit." Conjuringpaw continued, not bothering to explain further as she just stretched her paw out to show where on the wrist of her paw was bubbling with small beads of blood. The wound itself was too large to be a prey animal, too large to be another cat her age or any sort of predator, and given her station as a mother the answer to what had drawn her blood was obvious -- perhaps she figured it was so obvious that she didn't even need to bother mentioning it. Or maybe she just didn't want to, in all honesty the she cat looked absolutely done with the situation.
Twilightpromise stopped her mouth full of the bundles, she gave a quick nod, waiving her tail to the she cat to wait at a nice spot in the clearing of the room. She placed the herbs gently and grabbed a few bundles to bring back, "Let me take a look she mewed her eyes soft and sympathetic, Twilight enjoyed caring for her clanmates, but she wasn't sure she could handle being a mother, having to keep so many young energetic kits in line.
Giving the wound a sniff she rummaged through the bundles she brought over. "It looks like it will heal quickly." She noticed the Conjuringpaws mood and thought to herself for a moment, she didn't want to offend the mother, but she seemed in need of something to avoid her stress as well. "how are things?, With the fledglings that is?" she mewed gently as she grabbed some dock roots, chewing them into a pulp before spreading it on some cobwebs.
