i shouldn't do this, i don't need more characters, but i had ideas

Character Name: Rasalas
Character Bio: White mitts like satin gloves, black tuxedo made for a ballroom scene. They fit the atmosphere like they were born of it, a figment of it. The heartbeat memory of a sprawling oak floor, that soft string note of a melody you remember in some golden haze of chandelier lighting, the glare of cutting silver on the wine glass rim. And a burning gaze, like charcoal dimming, dimming into nothingness, in some distant figment of some upper class reverie.

What ideas do you have for your character?: Okay I realize that bio is short and kind of meaningless but that's all my bios, I have ideas I swear. I like the idea that Rasalas is like some weird shadow creature (metaphorically) that just showed up one day and no one really knows who they are or why they came here. He's this shady mysterious figure but he doesn't seem like it, because he seems like a very nice, if not slightly reserved guy. Technically also he's nonbinary, he was born female, prefers male pronouns, but has no problem skirting that weird borderline between very feminine and very masculine (looking back I don't know if that's relevant at all besides the fact that it works him more into the Shaman position but this was going to be the case anyways because it feels right for the character.) He has this whole very sweet but very suave energy going, appears to be very open and friendly, if not a bit too kind and something of a pushover, but is that kind of person you think you know everything about but when you look back on you realize you don't know them at all. I like the idea that they seem like something of an oddity, a sweet, gentle guy in the otherwise bloodthirsty and survivalist league, but they also clearly have their own goals and have no problem manipulating everyone around them to get what they want.

What ideas do you have for how they'd interact and relate to Bermondsey/Elizabeth?: Edited: Okay, so I know I bit more about Bermondsey now, and to be honest we have a thread going so in some ways we can see in real time, but I imagine most likely they'll get along fine. Rasalas doesn't intend to rock any boats and he likes to be seen as a sweet naive nobody who enjoys helping people a bit too much, which given how Bermondsey is it seems like they might think Rasalas is bound to get himself killed. Rasalas is always looking to use people, so they'll be eager to suck-up and get on his good side, or at least be seen as absolutely harmless, and I imagine their relationship 90% of the time will be something like quiet tough-guy nerd meets the really sweet office co-worker who puts "live laugh love" posters all over their office room and they always have a 10 potted flowers and succulents all around them and sticky notes with positive affirmations on them.

I don't know much about Elizabeth, but I realized Rasalas wouldn't either since she's out on a mission right now. I imagine when she comes back he'd be all about sucking up to her too and trying to make a big show out of welcoming her back. Similar to the above situation, it'll be like the person who has been out of the office for buisness coming back to realizing they have a bit-too-friendly co-worker set up in the office next door that they now have to learn to just live with it. 

Both of these sound like the start to a bad sitcom which just makes me love them more. 

What is something you'd love to do with your character/accomplish development wise?: I like the idea of them being a manipulator at heart, a wolf in sheep's clothing, and that they're definintely running from something. I'm working on the finer details, characters are always clearer when I've played them a bit and I want to think of something that fits the gravity I'm going for, but I'd love to dig into that. Either way, while I don't know if it can ever fully get resolved, I think that dynamic will be interesting. Someone everyone thinks they can trust slowly weaving their own plans in the back. It doesn't necessarily have to be obtrusive, it can be mutually beneficial, the real fun part is someone who at least is trying to play everyone in the room to their advantage. Even better if they get caught.

Is there anything you'd like to add to Primal Instinct/do more of within the group?: Edited So, after learning a bit more about modern primal instintc, I love the new spy energy that Primal Instinct is going with. I know I'd love to play into that with Rasalas, they seem like the ultimate character to get involved in spy/shady diplomatic shenanigans.<3 But just in general, that's what I know I'd want to do more of and get involved in, the wandering and the spying elements. I loved to see more plots also surrounding the spying and the political subterfuge, and a think a lot of opportunities for that will come up just in general if you encourage the energy of Primal Instinct to be one where these characters are everywhere and getting involved in everything. The energy of Primal Instinct being omnipresent in every place and having a line of communication with every clan just leads to so many cool opportunities and cool plot options, and so I guess it's not exactly something I alone want to see more of (since we've already talked about the fact that's where I believe PI is heading anyways) but I'm majorly excited about it and I would be extremely eager to participate in it all whether I get the position or not. But I will say I can think of a lot of fun plots around Rasalas with spy stuff (they just fit so well for it tbh, i can just imagine him coming to one of the clans like "oh yeah I'm just your sweet friendly neighborhood meddy cat looking to gather herbs and healing information and do friendly networking in the name of starclan <3 <3 <3" or pretend to be a nice healer who accidentally got caught up in the evil PI stuff and are just sweet baby and can do no harm and use that to get an in with others. tbf this is all stuff that should really go in the above sections but I went on a tangent which is why it's all in parenthesis woops.)
