❝ THREAD TEMPLATE ❞

Before:
¶ Sunny padded through the Two-leg Place. The day was sunny, slightly overcast with clouds. A small chill ruffled her fur as she makes her way across the thunderpath and to the Southern sea and then to the Deep Lands as she searches for food and shelter. A few minutes rest.
¶ She was attacked by a hungry Fox. The two fought snapiing jaws, claws raking each other over and over again. Blood swelling from wounds. Sunny was weak with hunger and no match for the fox to fight it. The fox bites her leg and her shoulder deeply, making her weaker.
¶ The fox is gonna eat me! She thinks with fear, as she lays still unable to fight anymore. The fox scensing something, turns tail and runs away fast. Sunny was too weak to even speak to find out who it was that had saved her. She closes her eyes slowly.

Time Skip (Now):
¶ After Sunny had been rescued from the fox and certain death. She had spent most of her time in the Medicine Cat Den, healing — gaining strength. Now it was time to join the Clan and to learn about them. She stretches her paws one at a time, before venturing outside.
¶ As Sunny walks out of the Medicine Cat Den, she blinks her eyes against the sun and with wide — curious eyes, looks around the camp. She moves to the side of the medicine Cat Den, so she wasn't blocking it, and sat down to observe her surroundings — her new home.

Zebrakit had been put on "meet the new kitten" duty. Well, maybe no one had actually assigned him that role, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to do it. He liked knowing all of the gossip in the clan, which meant that he had to know each of the kittens. It made it easier for him to laugh at their drama. But, even if he didn't like getting as much intel on his clanmates as possible, he still wanted to at least meet his new denmate. So, welcoming committee it was.
The black-striped tom padded up to her with his signature lopsided grin. "Well, hiya!" he purred, his tail flicking back and forth. "We were wonderin' when you'd be able to be released from the watchful eye of Sunveins. I'm Zesty!" he meowed, offering a little introductory bow. "Or, well, Zebrakit if you wanna be formal."

Time Skip (Now):
¶ Sunnykit notices out of the corner of her eyes, a kit not much older than herself, making his way towards her. She give him a smile. and dips her head to him as well.
"I'm Sunny, or I guess Sunnykit now." She said with a small laugh.
A small smile etched it's way across her mouth.
"It's nice to meet you." She says to him, with a tilt of her head.
"The pleasure is mine, Sunnykit," he meowed, taking her in. Another sun-inspired name - he was sure that Sunstar would get a kick out of that. As she continued to speak, he raised a brow - had no one told her where she was? That was odd - when he and Meer and the others had found their way to SummerClan territory, that was the first thing that had been told to them. Strange that the same wasn't true for Sunnykit.
"You're in SummerClan camp," he meowed. "You've been in Sunvein's den since you got here, but I can show you around if you want?"

¶ Sunnykit nods her head as she listened to the friendly kit.
"I would really like that!" She told him with a wide smile.
"I guess they were gonna tell me eventually after I was well enough to understand. I guess they thought I would figure it out as the den has been busy with talk about the Clans. I don't know." She replied to him as she looked at him.
"So were to first?" She asked with a tilt of her head.
He shrugged casually. "It's not a big deal," he assured her as he motioned to the next den. "There's a whole lot we can see, but it's probably best if we start right where you're gonna be stayin' as soon as you're cleared. It's a great place - warm, soft, spacious. The rent's cheap, and there's probably a few empty nests." He padded in, his tail flicking back and forth. "This is the nursery. Over there," he motioned to a small corner of the den, "are where the twins stay. Sunrisekit and Midnightkit, the kids of the former deputy. That area over there is where we safari kits sleep. We're a bunch'a orphans, you can probably stay with us if you want. Over there is where Monsterkit sleeps, as far from the twins as possible. They're not friends. And over there are ... Shadedsun's kits' nests? I'm not entirely sure, I've never met them." He padded to the back of the den where he had motioned he slept every night. "We'll set you up here, kay?"

¶ "Probably." She replies with a big grin. Sunnykit follows him to the nurery and takes the sights in. Once in the nursery she glances at each place that each kit slept in. She nods her head at each area of sleeping quarters.
¶ "Sunvein says I can come here." She replies to the other kit with a huge grin on her face. "I just have to take it easy for a few days, is all." She replies as she sits down and cleans her face. "I can't wait to meet the others." She says with a happy wave of her tail.
"Sweet! It'll be good to have you in here," he meowed with a smile, before hearing the sound of another kitten padding up. He glanced over to see one of the twins. In all honestly, Zebrakit couldn't tell the two apart. One was Sunrisekit and the other was Midnightkit, but they looked about the same to him. "Well, if you're excited, it looks like you're in luck! We've got our first new guest," he mewed to Sunnykit, before waving his tail at the other.
Sunrisekit had a reputation for being either charming or absolutely horrible, it really depended on the cat. She was the top dog of the nursery, and she was unafraid to make that known if she needed to. She didn't love putting others in their place, but she would if she needed to. "So, you must be the new guy?"
