uniqcrim Indigocrown and Puzzlemaker <3 Let the drama unfold.
Stepping across Moonclans borders was like releasing a weight he had forgotten he was carrying. Like shedding a heavy cloak and unveiling himself to the sun. His clanmates slept behind him, wrapped up and hidden among the dark shadows of a yawning estate. There was no creeping feeling of guilt he worried he might feel after devoting himself to them so thoroughly these past moons. They held a part of him now, but it was not a part of himself he knew he had until he crafted it for it['s purpose in the moment he needed it. Thus the shame of leaving that part of himself behind in Moonclan never hit him as his worries cautioned it might and instead his steps brightened and he hurried further from the clan that now looked towards him for guidance.
He had lied that he needed to seek further guidance from Selene and would be going on a short pilgrimage, as far as nephew knew that was. No one else in Moonclan would ever be aware he was gone at all.
Puzzlemaker found his paws bringing him towards familiar haunts, back towards territories he used to roam under an old name. Where he spun riddles to those poor fools who got caught in his cross-hairs. Where he loved fleetingly and wholeheartedly but never truly gave himself to anyone. It felt like a lifetime ago now, and it stirred a sort of regret as he thought of those he called his friends who he might never see again. Some he would barley notice the loss of but others he had intertwined so closely to himself it would hurt to loose. Perhaps this is why he unconsciously went towards the snow capped mountains that towered over him now, where a cold wind cut through his fur and he found himself smiling at it's familiar bite. It hadn't been that long since he last met up with Indigo and he was eager to speak with her once more. Her no nonsense attitude was always refreshing and would be doubly so now.
But now that he carried the scent of Moonclan with him, stronger than ever, he hesitated to cross the border. Last time he had been a fresh Commissioner of the clan he now lead, swept up in its changing tides and eagerly sharing with Indigo how easily he had won a place among them. Now he bore the weight of expectations and boundaries that were no longer so easily pushed off.

Indigocrown had not been Sovereign very long, but already she was starting to get into the swing of things. Her clan was accepting the changes she made under their ancestors guidance so easily - it was almost unreal. When Starclan refused to gift her the name of Indigostar it was as if a great weight was lifted from her shoulders and a veil was peeled from her eyes. She saw the pain and hurt and suffering her clan had endured with such unswaying tyranny for so many generations. The young leader sought to break and release her clan from the trauma they endured.
Despite all that and the loss of her fiance, she had unexpectedly found herself swept up in many conversations with a tom from Moonclan. Of all the places. It was certainly unorthodox and she would have forbid any of her warriors from engaging in such a relationship outside of the clan. But... it was just a good friendship that certainly wouldn't end in any harm, right? That's what she thought. Until she was approached by her Warlock and he shared some crucial and important information. This certainly wasn't how she was planning to enter into motherhood either. Her mother had died from the shame of carrying kits born of two clans and yet here Indigocrown was....
"It's been a while since I saw you near my border," ever since receiving the news the grizzled tan she-cat had found herself wandering towards the border more frequently in the hopes he would stop by again. Surely he would want to know at the very least. "You must have been busy recently, then again I suppose we all are." A small smile flittered across her face. While there was a sudden and recent change of heart in many things, smiling and showing emotion was still not her strong suit.
He shouldn't be surprised that she would arrive when he was thinking of her most, it seemed that life truly smiled upon him. Often good fortune seemed to be readily available to him; it was rather charming to be able to let the pieces fall into place around him without much maneuvering from himself. "I feel like I'm always busy now a days." He returned with a crooked boyish grin head tilting as he considered her.
"In truth I should be busy with things right now but I've decided to live a life of truancy and escape my responsibilities." He waved his tail to encompass Winterlcan and the border he stood upon, "hence why I'm here lurking on your border hoping for a distraction from my own boring clan." Blue eyes blinked innocently towards her and hoped she would humor him. Often his conversations over here, away from the role he was squeezing himself into where one of his greatest escapes.
Sadly he knew nothing of her own thoughts, her own news and how quickly a hastily built escape could crumble.
