Leatherstar had gathered an unusually large group of cats for this raid. He had mentioned his plans to Sweetpine, but even his Jarl didn't know the details. He didn't know Leatherstar would be leaving the tom in charge of the gathering of herbs and prey while he slipped away to find his children. The tom took the first few steps across SunClan's border. Foxstar's words echoing in his ears. Her warning, should she find him on her territory again.
They were in for a fight of their life.
He gave a small growl before lashing his tail for his thanes to follow as he darted into the undergrowth and towards SunClan's home. They were rattled by the uprising and escape of their captives. Now was their only chance to make a move. And that window of opportunity was closing fast.
A white pelt flashed in the shadows as she followed. Icedivy was a rather quick cat, and was feeling a rush. She was focused, her eyes forward as she readied herself for the upcoming mission. Her tail was still behind her, and her eyes were unwavering.
Crimsonrose’s amber eyes had narrowed when Leatherstar announced their raid on SunClan. And as she followed at Leatherstar’s side, her suspicions didn’t fade. She knew him, knew he’d been here once before, and that there was more than prey, herbs and prisoners to catch his eye.
“Don’t do anything mousebrained,” Crimsonrose hissed. She knew as a mother, Littlebird would fight like lionclan to protect her kits. But she feared Leatherstar had not heard her. She would have to keep a close eye on him during the raid.

With the rescue of DayClan and SpringClan, the makeshift camp was left empty, and rather useless, to the cats of SunClan. As such, it was about time to demolish it, returning the area to the forest and fields it had once been. A day had been made of it, with the warriors and apprentices working in shifts on taking down the dens and barriers, overseen by the Senators, and the queens and kits sitting around in the warmth of Ceremony Springs and the surrounding Burial Grounds, playing and laughing with the cats who were on break from their duties for a few moments.
Foxstar, for her part, had elected to stay closer to the Springs, with Littlebird, and watch over the kits. Now, it was partly due to her injuries, as Glowstar had attacked her (again) a few days prior when she'd refused to return DayClan and SpringClan's kits to them. That had been a mess, and both of them were nursing the physical wounds of battle, though they had a new focus in Pandora, a little kitten created by the Sun God for the two leaders to raise, and hopefully bond over. How well that would go, only time could tell, but no one, at least, could deny that the she-kit, who was a perfect little mixture of both her 'parents' was rather adorable, if already troublesome.
More so than even that, this was due to an inherent distrust for the WinterClan leader. She'd told him not to step on the territory again, and yet, he'd done so, claiming to be helping DayClan and SpringClan. The Priestess couldn't have caused a scene then, though she was already running through ideas to make them pay, and in the meantime, exercising extreme caution in regards to Littlebird's kits, not putting it past Leatherstar to attack at any moment. Perhaps it was a touch paranoid, but when her instincts told her something, generally, the fox-furred feline was wise enough to listen.
Pandora was having a good time, quite honestly. Three days old, and created by a deity rather than born, but with a body just about a week older, and she was a rather interesting creature for the clan to behold. A perfect mixture of Glowstar and Foxstar, for all the good... and the bad. Already, sunflowers were threaded through her thick fur, down her ebony laced spine, the bright and dark colors contrasting beautifully with her cinnamon swirled auburn pelt, streaks of green that matched her iridescent gaze already permanently etched into her pretty pelt.
The chipper kitten was currently messing around in the herb plants that the Janus maintained, much to Foxstar's chagrin, giggling as she played in the plants, having no idea what the herbs were, if she was honest. A dangerous smile flashed across fox-like features, the she-cat picking a few juniper berries and pelting them at the Priestess with reckless abandon, as though she were oblivious to her mother's growing frustration.
Skipstep had unfortunately caught a bit of a cold from his dip in freezing water to chase after Glowstar. He was finalky starting to feel better so he kept close to Littlebird and her kits. Letting Jetclaw take over his lighter janus duties as he recovered. The ones that required less secrecy.
Said tan and black she cat was taking a break from working on tearing down the makeshift camp. and spotted pandora pelting foxstar. "Hmm, hey pandora heres some excess unused moss," Jetclaw said rolling it into a ball. "You want it?" She asked batting it between her paws.

Bringing his thanes to a halt with the rise of his thick brown tail, he peered through the brush at the makeshift cam currently being dismantled. Cats looked tired as they worked. Foxstar must be a slave driver. He thought with an amused raise of a lip. He wouldn't have expected anything else. He flicked his tail for his thanes to fan out. They could charge the camp from several sides to cause confusion before the SunClan cats could right themselves. He turned to his thanes. Still far enough away not to be heard he said, "We are to steal prey, and herbs. Do not take prisoners. But leave lasting blows. This will not be an easy raid. Foxstar and her clan will have no intentions of letting us simply walk in and take what we please. Pair up in twos and watch each others back. Crimsonrose, Barrenfrost, your with me. Violahope, Icedivy, your with Sweetpine. The rest of you find your partner and don't die. The Ancient's be with us all." He turned back tot he camp his muscles bunching. He cast a shadowed glance as Crimsonrose. He had heard her. But he had already made up his mind.
Whitemagnolia worked alongside her fellow clan mates in tearing down the old captives camp. She was feeling happy today and she felt nothing could steal that feeling away from her.
Auricluster sat on a boulder watching the others work. His golden gaze scanning the camp and the brush around it.
Her assigned group included the jarl of the clan. Her different hues eyes floated towards the tom. They only lingered for a moment. Her job was to keep him safe, even if it cost her life. Icedivy breathed in slowly. The frozen could again, feel the rush of sudden adrenaline. The blood rushed in her ears, and her paws felt light. Mentally, she was preparing herself for battle.

Littlebird watched as he two kits tussled and played among the sunflowers, as the clan worked to dissemble to old prisoner camp. This was their first time out of camp, and she couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. She leaned against Skipstep and licked his cheek likely "It's crazy how fast they grow" she purred. Her two little ones were the youngest of the kits out on this little adventure, and extra precautions had been taken to ensure the safety of all the kits that had been brought out to play. The warriors had combed the sunflower fields, and warriors stood watch for any potential danger.

The jarl smiled down at the white frozen as he caught her multicoloured eyes. He closed his, butting his head against her shoulder. "We'll be just fine," he purred, tensing his speckled paws. He hadnt bothered really cleaning himself up this morning since he knew what was to come, but he still looked himself over. He glanced over to where Leatherstar stood, studying what his cheif was deciding to do.
Her focus was clearly taken off guard as Sweetpine butted her shoulder. It made her body relax ever so slightly, but not entirely. A small smile flashed her lips, but soon faded. She gave a small twitch of her tail, trying to regain her focus, but it was now devided. Her claws began to knees the ground, eyes fixed forward.
SunClan Skipstep purred pressing his head against Littlebird. He was finally over his cold. Taking a jump in that freezing water after Glowstar and Spellpaw had not been without consequences. But he was out of the woods, though still a bit weak. “They’re going to be great,” he purred as he watched the two kits beside Littlebird.
WinterClan Crimsonrose shook her head, already knowing what Leatherstar was going to try. But she followed after him without hesitation. He was going to need her to drag him out of whatever trouble he got in.

WINTERCLAN
With a flick of his tail he announced the cry of battle. He darted from the growth stopping as he allowed his thanes to pass by him on the adrenaline of a raid. "Take what you can!" He yowled. An uncharacteristic grin spreading across his maw. While the blessings of the ancients didn't give WinterClan any benefits outside of their own territory he had faith in his thanes natural talents and skills.
Hearthfire darted past Leatherstar ready to defend the smaller and quicker thanes as they went for the herbs and freshkill. He was a massive cat much more worthy of a fight than a sneaky steal. Spottednettle kept close by Hearthfire. He had chosen him as his partner, both being prison guards, they were better suited to defend than gather a maw full of catnip.
SUNCLAN
Whitemagnolia lifted her head in surprise as cats darted from the shadows. She was so shaken she dropped the bundle of sticks she had been carrying in her jaws. She instantly went into a small crouched, ear pulled back, fearful.
Auricluster snarled at the obnoxious intrusion. Foxstar had warned them about this foolish chieftain and his impulsive mannerisms. He would not make this same mistake so soon. He launched himself from his boulder and darted for the nearest WinterClan cat.
A bit away Fernkit who played with her brother, Lionkit, and leaned into Littlebirds fluffy pelt. She giggled and softly. Still so small her vision was blurry and her brown pelt fluffy like a moss ball.

SUNCLAN Littlebird's ears twitched forward as the WinterClan's leader echoed into the sunflower fields. She would have known that voice any where, but the scent of ice and snow that were to follow confirmed it. She put her tail protectively around Fernkit and Lionkit and leaned down to nose them "Come, we need to get away from here. Don't be frightened, we knew this would happen eventually" but even as she soothed her two little ones, she had doubts. Leatherstar had brought a large force with him, many of them prison guards or Frozen. Even though WinterClan had changed a lot, she could still pick out their ranks in a glance. "Pandora, you to" she called firmly for the other kit to join them. Her kits wouldn't recognize this cat as their father, not yet anyway. Since they had only recently opened their eyes, there had not been time to even speak with them about their heritage. As she shuffled them forward toward safety she couldn't help but glance backwards at Leatherstar. She knew he would come eventually, but that fact that he had chosen to come while she was still greatly weakened angered her. He claimed to have loved her once, and yet here he was taking advantage of the difficult kitting she had endured to further his own agenda. It wouldn't work, not this time. Not ever.
SunClan At the sound of the attack Jetclaw quickly nudged Pandora towards Littlebird, "Yes, go with her Pandora, and here." She quickly batted together some juniper berries into leaves and gave them to the kit. "You're good at pelting your mom, any winterclan cat comes by, you can distract them with these. Confuse them," She said blue eyes flashing. She hoped that by selling Pandora on the idea of her going with littlebird armed with berries to throw she might be more inclined to go with if given the promise to sow some chaos.
Skipstep growled angry that Leatherstar had returned and cursing his own weakness as he assisted Littlebird in herding Fernkit and Lionkit. "Jetclaw stay close," He hissed to his sister. Both he and Littlebird were far too weak to stave off a direct attack. As long as Jetclaw had their backs they'd get through... he hoped.

SUNCLAN Foxstar cursed under her breath, head swinging to Littlebird as the Promised corralled the two young kits and her own child, Pandora. If there was one thing the Priestess knew, it was that Leatherstar would head for them first. That was, perhaps, the largest reason she didn't throw herself into battle, healing injuries aside. All she had to do was wait, and the battle would come to her. In contrast to the WinterClan leader's cry, the she-cat's voice rang sharply across the land, righteous fury in her tone. "SunClan! We fight to kill! Show them that we are not so easily taken advantage of!" It was an order that was likely a surprise to none. Leatherstar had trespassed now three times, and Foxstar was more than done with his antics. If he wanted a fight, he would get one. At the same time, her words gave away her own location, and she hoped he came for her. She had an idea, after all.
Pandora, at least in this instance, chose to be sensible, bounding close to the Promised and circling around Fernkit and Lionkit, the fox-line auburn she-kit giggling softly. "Wanna help me pelt them?" She suggested, flashing a grin that showed she wasn't the slightest bit serious about the battle that began right before their eyes. As if to demonstrate her point, the she-cat picked out a berry, bouncing it in her paw for a moment before she hooked it towards the sound of the WinterClan cats. Maybe she could pick up some stones along the way.
WINTERCLAN Dealfinder felt guilty, helping WinterClan steal from his former clan. But, more than any of them, he knew the locations of the herbs, and the tom reluctantly lead them forth. At the center of the Burial Grounds lay the Ceremony Springs, surrounded by a blood red river. To either side lay lush herbs, fueled by hot, humid land and the fertile soil. There was no catmint, that grew elsewhere, but there were many plants, carefully tended to and cared for. For his part, the tom started to gingerly pick the flowers off a plant, which happened to be marigold, setting them down carefully. Maybe he was overly cautious, but he didn't want to damage the plants, or the herbs he was collecting. One wrong move, and he could crush them and make them utterly useless, and WinterClan wouldn't want that. This place was the garden for the vast majority of the herbs in SunClan, and the cats beside him could see it.
WINTER Icedivy gave a low hiss and jumped straight in. It had been planned for her group to get the herbs, but she knew they couldn’t all just go get them. One would have to fight to protect those who carried them. She redied herself, ears erect.
Frozenwaters had been looking at some herbs when the berry Pandora threw smacked into her face. "Ah my eye!" She cried reaching up a paw to bat at whatever had hit her in the eye. It felt like a berry? Or something like that. Cursing she had to try and clear away the berry from her face.
SunClan
Jetclaw heard the call, "I think you got a hit, good throw," She told Pandora, as she crouched ready to fend off any WinterClan cats who came too close.

WINTERCLAN
As his thanes took to the herbs and engaged cats in battle he angled his ears towards Foxstar's call. He could practically feel her anger in his pelt as his fur rose in response. He jerks his body in her direction. Where she was littlebird would likely be. Where Littlebird was, his kits would be. The large brown tom dug in his claws before pushing off for speed. There was no snow to hold him back here in SunClan's territory. No weight to hold him down. His muscles could constrict and release with freedom. It was a wonder what the winterclan cats could do when not overcome by the elements. While SunClan was abnormally hot for a WinterClan cat he coudln't focus on anything but his destination. He crossed the territory like a dust devil on a terror.

SUNCLAN Pandora grinned, another berry raised and thrown in the span of a heartbeat as Jetclaw spoke. This was fun! Though she doubted internally that her mother had similar feelings.
Foxstar's whiskers twitched slightly as she heard a yelp from the direction Pandora had thrown a berry. Not lethal, and a definite waste of herbs, but at least she was a good shot. For now, she rose to her paws and waited, shifting on her feet slightly in apparent impatience. She never had liked waiting, so hopefully Leatherstar wouldn't waste too much of her time. The Priestess would be greatly disappointed if he wasn't here after all, or didn't rise to the bait she'd so generously laid out for him.
The initiate snarled as he circled protectively between the Promised and the crowd, thick tail whipping hard back and forth. Anyone who wanted to step a paw near the queen and kits would have to go through him first, and as his clan knew all too well, it was easily said and rarely done. He had defended those mountain cats from countless threats, and had slain them himself when they rose in rebellion against their leader. His burned maw twitched as he bared his teeth, daring the craven thanes to tempt his wrath.
