Welcome to WinterClan's Point System! Here you can exchange the points you've earned from threads for perks and prizes.
Each perk has a set cost (Artisan is 50 points) and when you obtain that perk, you lose the points, but get to enjoy the new
benefits you purchased. If that isn't your thing, you can always buy other prizes instead!
PERKS
START AHEAD (50 POINTS) Every new character earns 30 points instead of 10 points. Stacks with New Life.
ARTISAN (50 POINTS) Every new thread you create earns double points. Lasts one month. Stacks with Young Soul, Forever Bond, and Repeat Offender.
YOUNG SOUL (5O POINTS) Earn double points when you roleplay a kit. Lasts one month.Stacks with Artisan.
FOREVER BOND (50 POINTS) Earn 10 extra points when you roleplay with your (former) mentor. Stacks with Artisan.
NEW LIFE (100 POINTS)
If your character was
born to two roleplayed
parents, receive an
extra 20 points. Stacks
with Start Ahead.
EXPLORER (100 POINTS) All kits you roleplay can find CaveClan! Once your kits are promoted to apprentice, they are not allowed inside CaveClan.
ALLIED (150 POINTS) For battle threads, you add 10 extra points per character fighting on your side.
SEEING GHOSTS (150 POINTS) Your cat can recognize a white cat possessing the living or a renincarnated ancient on sight.
COPPER COUNTER (200 POINTS) Once a month, claim 20 points for free.
SILVERTONGUE (200 POINTS) Get a 20% discount on everything at the market.
HOARDER (300 POINTS) Every activity check, claim 5 points per character you roleplay.
TROUBLEMAKER (450 POINTS) One of your characters can talk their way out of some punishments (i.e. trespassing). This perk can be purchased again to use on an additional cat.
REPEAT OFFENDER (500 POINTS) Choose one way of obtaining points (i.e. making a thread). You now earn double points every time you do this. Stacks with Artisan.
MERCHANT (500 POINTS) One of your cats has found a small subsection of Sully's Stores. They can keep or distribute the wares as they wish.
SQUIRREL (550 POINTS) You can miss an activity check without losing your cats. This can only be used once, but can be purchased multiples times to be used again.
SECOND BLESSING (800 POINTS) For two months your cat can have a second blessing from an ancient. For example, a cat devoted to Durai can briefly receive Arawn's blessing as well in a time of crisis.
THE NEW LEADER (500 POINTS) Your kit is the new leader of CaveClan! Choose a kit to apply this perk to. When they're promoted to apprentice, you lose this. Only one person can have this.You must also have the Explorer perk.
THE NEW DEPUTY (300 POINTS) Your kit is the new deputy of CaveClan! Choose a kit to apply this perk to, but when they're promoted you lose this. Can only be held by one user at a time. You must also have the Explorer perk.
THE NEW HEALER (300 POINTS) Your kit is the medicine cat of CaveClan! Choose a kit to apply this to - when they're promoted, you lose this. Can only be held by one person at a time. You must also have the Explorer perk.

EARNING POINTS
LOSING POINTS
5 POINTS: Add a character. Reply to an activity check. Tryout for a position (roleplay or staff). Promote your character to a new rank. Reply to survey. Post a new thread. Add a link to a new thread on the activity check. Reply to a thread (claim once a page).
10 POINTS: Reply to a mission, patrol, trial, plot, or training thread. Roleplay with a past mentor/apprentice. Add a WinterClan cat to the adoption center. Find a mate. Have a fling. Escape from prison. Cheat on your mate.
15 POINTS: Have a litter of kits. Defeat an enemy. Capture a prisoner. Choose your religion. Learn a new skill (MCA only!).
20 POINTS: Turn in a traitor or spy. Save a life. Encounter a white cat or ancient. Capture a high-value prisoner. Suggest a plot idea. Convince a new user to join the clan.
GIFTING: You can gift points to another player.
SPENDING:You can spend points at the Market or on perks.
PATROLS MISSIONS & TRAINING THREADS:If you fail to reply to an assigned patrol, mission, or training thread at least once, you will lose 20 points. Exception: if a valid excuse is presented when the thread is created.
INACTIVITY:If you do not have any cats left in the clan, you will lose 100 points every month. If you run out of points, your perks will be removed.
THE MARKET COST - reward
20 POINTS - Warrior name given to your novice by an ancient.
50 POINTS - a premade character (photo, artwork, name,
and complete biography)
50 POINTS - a new biography for your cat
100 POINTS - Character banner for your choice of character
any clan.
300 POINTS - Choose (within reason) the clans next plot!

RULES FOR CLAIMING POINTS -
♦ You must claim your points before the next Activity Check (21st of Every month) Any claimed on the 22nd - the 20th for points made available before the last ac will be ignored.
♦ You must provide linked proof. Please link via link tool with a single word or name of thread not a long link on the reply.
♦ If any staff member counting points feels a point is illegally obtained or not acceptable they can choose to not accept.
NOTE - Until the 01/21/2019 You can gather and claim all points earned since we started using proboards.
