Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Hello there! As many of you know I am SunClan's new leader. With that comes many changes! SunClan's territory was entirely destroyed! Left without any cats to lead. So in the wake of this, we are going to do this a little different than anything classic has seen! SunClan deputy try-outs will last an entire week. You may already hold a deputy/leader position and still tryout and get deputy of SunClan. This role will be roleplay only. You will not be required to edit pages, do ceremonies, or any of the normal deputy expectations. You will only be required to retain a nice activity in SunClan. You'll be expected to stay active and respond to threads with other staff, plots, and simply branch out with other members. Do not worry! I plan to lead SunClan for an extended amount of time. When the time comes that I think I may eventually decide to step down, I will then ask if you'd like to step in as a full deputy (which you can if you decide to leave your other leadership position later on. Please, however, do not do that any time soon! My goal in making tryouts this way is to make sure that all the clans have who they need on their staff, and not to take away from another!) if you choose not to step in as full deputy I will explain that I plan to step down by a certain date. I will need to choose and train up a willing person to lead SunClan. I do hope that no one would take it as a demotion. Your time served with SunClan will be amazing and appreciated. I hope that this will sum up any questions, and if you have more please do feel free to ask! If at any time you wish to step away as the roleplay deputy, lets plot about it! Why did you cat leave the position? Did they simply step down? Die? Etc? Everything about SunClan is meant to be tied in from here on out. My vision is to have each cat interacting with one another, stories to build, relationships to happen. I want the feel to be more "book like"!

GOTHICVICTORY – VILLAIN OF MY OWN STORY + An all black she-cat with streaks of deep russet red that only reveal themselves under the light of the sun and a plume for a tail similar to that of a fox's, many like to judge her cover before getting to know her story. A sad reality, truly, when a lot of what they see can be chalked up to their own projections and a serious case of social anxiety on her part. Despite the judgment and ridicule, however, she tries to keep her perspective light – as best as can be – and find the benefit of the doubt in many she comes across, though many too have disappointed her too greatly to be redeemed in her eyes. One of her many unique quirks is that she wears a black lace collar with a single small ruby set in place at the throat. Having never been a kittypet and having no recollection of how she actually obtained the odd artifact, it's one she loves very much and is very rarely, if never, seen parted from. While she is one of the more ruthless members of SunClan when it comes to those who have betrayed her and her clan, and has had blood stain her paws before, she is anything but disloyal and unloving towards her clan. She's just a little... different, that's all.
How will your cat get along with Ocean? How does your cat feel about her as leader?: Because Gothicvictory's not a very social person or outwardly caring, she'd be kind of dismissive of Oceanstar, obviously respecting and obeying her as a leader, but when it comes to personal moments, steering clear of any sort of emotional window that could exist. Despite this, because Oceanstar is her leader and a member of her clan, she trusts her and will defend her just as fiercely as the rest. After some time of getting to know one another and allowing herself the time and the comfort to lower her walls, I think they could be pretty close, with Gothicvictory perhaps even feeling very protective of Oceanstar given her history.
How will your cat and Lacelily get along?: Gothicvictory would never say this aloud, but she adores Lacelily and sees her as a little sister type. This, in the beginning, means because of how socially awkward Gothicvictory actually is, she'll be very gruff with her and even seem like she doesn't like her at all, when really she's just coming to terms with how quickly she's grown fond of her. As with Oceanstar, once she's given time to get accustomed to the two of them and get to know them better, she'll lower her walls and will allow that big sister energy out around Lacelily. Plus, Gothicvictory fancies herself a bit of a fashionista, if in a more eccentric way, so she'd see Lacelily as the perfect model for her designs.
How does your cat feel about the former SunClan traditions being completely eradicated?: Gothicvictory came into SunClan pretty late in the game, actually, and didn't have much time if any to get accustomed to the customs SunClan previously had. Gothicvictory was more acquainted with the Dominion's way of life; while it was all she knew in clan life, she doesn't miss it by any means. This new world Oceanstar's brought into SunClan with their move from the now destroyed territory into their new home is a refreshing turn of events.
Does your cat follow StarClan?: Gothicvictory doesn't have a set religion she practices or follows, so to speak. She's pretty go with the flow and will accept anything as truth. So long as you believe, she'll believe too. This could be StarClan or the Dark Forest or multiple gods or a giant floating piece of fresh kill in the sky. She doesn't like to limit the viewpoints of anyone around her, unless they may be harmful to those around her. Though... deep within, a belief has been lurking, a seed planted within her when she was very young. However, she has yet to let that seed bloom into the blossom it's clawing within her to be. She may never see that day come, or it may come tomorrow. She'll never know. Until then, she's happy believing in StarClan or any other deity. Her belief is limitless.
Was your cat born in SunClan, or RR, or other?: Gothicvictory was born a rogue. At least, she's pretty sure. Surprisingly enough, she doesn't have very many memories of her youth. The fleeting image of a she-cat she presumes to be her mother here; the soft voice of who she believes to be her father there. Everything is very hazy and if she tries too hard to remember, she experiences a migraine that'll put her out for several days. Instead, Gothicvictory has always focused on the present and looked to the future to guide her path. Meeting Yarepawn, daughter of Foxstar and Deal, was the closest she had ever been to living in a structured environment alongside others like her, misfits and outcasts who had been picked up by the vengeful feline on her trek back to SunClan. After Yarepawn's fall, Gothicvictory remained in SunClan, it having been one of the first places she had that she could call home.
How does your cat feel about RR?: Gothicvictory's pretty fond of the different structure of the regime, honestly. The militaristic lifestyle of the regime is different and yet similar to the Dominion, though with far less religious reference. Experiencing different cultures was the reason she originally started traveling... at least, that's the story she's convinced of. As long as the regime is there to assist them and gives them a chance to return to their home, it won't be too big of a problem if they turn and stab them in the back by attacking later on. Friendships don't last long in this world, alliances even less. Though... it would be nice to have a few more friends in a world so unforgiving.
Username Dot Do you have current positions, if so what: I am currently Renegade Regime's Mercenary Superior which is their deputy position. Cat name and bio: Lifeadventure A cream furred tom with grey and brown lynx markings and light leaf green eyes. The harsh reality of his youth has changed him. He was once a care free tom who had very little sense of time and marched to the beat of his own drum. Who has now been shoved into the deep end and forced to acknowledge the harsher realities of life. Going from a large family that once dominated Sunclan to dwindling to just a few numbers. His family has become the most important aspect of his life next time his clan. Overly protective of his two littermates, his nieces, nephews and much of what is left of his extended family. His loyalty to his family is just as strong to his loyalty to Sunclan. Willing to place his life on the line to ensure his clan’s safety. Maybe this quick decision for self sacrifice comes from the fact he was held to a high standard from the time he was kit. Struggling to crumble under the pressure of being the son of a Janus and the grandson of the High Priest. He was commanded to be a good devoted follower of the Sun God. Raised under Sunclan’s former religion and was once a devoted follower like majority of Sunclan. Believing strongly that the Sun God’s word was law. After multiple disasters struck Sunclan and the Sun God’s disappearance. His belief and loyalty to the god began to waver.
How will your cat get along with Ocean? How does your cat feel about her as leader?: For Lifeadventure having Oceaneyes as leader will be a big change for him. He's still young, and has only known life with his grandmother Littlestar as leader. He probably would've grown up on nursery tales about his uncle Bloodystar's leadership. Along with Crimsonstar's brief leadership I would assume at first Lifeadventure would be cautious. Cautious to see what type of leader Oceaneyes would be for Sunclan. He would feel this sense of protectiveness for the Clan. He would probably quick to point out flaws or mistakes that could damage Sunclan. He would also try his best to keep Oceanstar from taking Sunclan down another dark path.
How will your cat and Lacelily get along?: Lifeadventure is Lacelily's little brother and littermate. I can see Lifeadventure being worried about Lacelily being consistently ill and nest bound. He would be the overprotective little brother for his older sister. Which could be a good thing in some circumstances, but he could possibly be viewed as the little annoying brother. Lifeadventure
How does your cat feel about the former SunClan traditions being completely eradicated?: Lifeadventure would have mixed feelings about the traditions being completely eradicated. The Sunclan traditions are all he has ever known. He views them as a part of his family and grandmother Littlestar's legacy. With many of his family members being in high positions of power it probably would've been expected of him to know the traditions of Sunclan inside and out. He would probably struggle a bit at first to let those traditions go, but would otherwise use his knowledge as a way to help Oceanstar foster new traditions if that is a goal of her's.
Does your cat follow StarClan?: Lifeadventure would believe in the Sun God at first. His faith in the cat that he considered to be Sunclan’s only god and the only religion he has ever known. Has been tested and this is a fact of his life that he is still coming to terms. After seeing the terrifying things that has happened to Sunclan. He is questioning if the Sun God was truly protecting Sunclan or if he was really there to destroy them. I think through plotting and possibly being visited in a dream by a StarClan cat. Lifeadventure would eventually accept StarClan as Sunclan’s religion, but he would be weary of them at first. He would wonder why they never attempt to stop the Sun God. He would maybe even internally blame them for the deaths of many of his family members at first.
Was your cat born in SunClan, or RR, or other?: Lifeadventure was born in Sunclan to Silverfringe and Sorrowfularia. I believe he made of been born after his Uncle Bloodystar's leadership ended. He would of been raised on the stories of Bloodystar. Grew up with his grandmother Littlestar being leader, his grandfather Skipstep being a Janus, his father Sorrowfularia being a Janus. Along with watching his sister Lacelily be picked as a Janus at a young age and later become one of the Soothsayers (Medicine Cats). I feel due to who his family was there would be a lot of pressure and expectations of what standard he should be held to, but also because of who Lifeadventure's family was he would feel a lot of loyalty and dedication to Sunclan. Which would be his main reason for volunteering to join the patrol back to Sunclan's territory.
How does your cat feel about RR?: Lifeadventure being young and having his training as a warrior getting knocked around by the shuffling of leaders, and the Dominion taking over Sunclan. He would take the opportunity to learn from the cats of the Regime. He would believe in keeping a good relationship with the group as they gave Sunclan shelter in their time of need. He would also believe that Sunclan warriors could learn a few things from Regime Scouts and Mercenaries. He does feel a part of that good old Sunclan pride has been hurt having to crawl to the Regime for help, but he would recognize that it was necessary in Sunclan's situation.
Username: Cleaver Current position: SwiftClan deputy Cat: img - Frostcry Frostcry was born on the eve of great change. His entire life has been torn by unusual turbulence — discarded leaders, invading armies, natural disasters — and he has learned to roll with the punches. The hard training of his apprenticeship left him lean and muscular, and he has all the makings of a great warrior; then, the day after his ceremony, an accident left his front leg twisted and paralyzed. Since then he has suffered through his recovery with grace and dignity. Frostcry is a quiet cat, but do not mistake his hesitance for fear; though inexperienced, he is imbued with the reckless impulsivity of youth and he can stand for himself. His ambition lend him courage even as he struggles to relearn what it means to be a warrior. A white tom with dark brown patches and steady blue eyes.
How will your cat get along with Ocean? How does your cat feel about her as leader?:
Oceaneyes seems patient; in times of peace they will work well and professionally. I’m open to seeing how it goes and if they get close or not! In times of strife, he is young and impulsive: he would argue and possibly defy her if he disagrees, which can cause a lot of fun conflict since he’s probably in the wrong.
How will your cat and Lacelily get along?: I can see two options here — either Frostcry knows her well after being in recovery, or if we want to start fresh, they were separated soon after his injury and don’t know each other well at all. Either way, they’re both young and mild cats, so I think they would get along fine. If they’ve been working together they’re probably close and she would be a good confidant.
How does your cat feel about the former SunClan traditions being completely eradicated?:
Frostcry is okay with the loss of tradition. The old rules were harsh and difficult to survive within; he’s open to something new.
Does your cat follow StarClan?: (This will be a huge factor! SunClan is now following StarClan!) Growing up in SunClan, Frostpaw knew only the Sun God. Most importantly, he knew the Sun God abandoned them. He’s struggled with religion for a long time; he wants to be pious and look to someone greater for help, he’s reassured by the idea, but he’s never known StarClan. Once he gets to know them I think he will be devout, but until then, he’s uncertain.

How does your cat feel about RR?:
Frostcry is incredibly claustrophobic and spent most of their stay with RR on the surface. He is polite to them but doesn’t understand their customs and would rather not interact.
Plot idea: Not any ideas for full clan plots right now except maybe a collab with Swift. I do think it would be fun inside of a larger plot to have some Ocean vs Frost conflict as they both do what they believe is best and, frustrated, he starts to defy her.
i'm adding this here half finished because I am low key debating if i even want to actually try out, i'm half-commital. i want a reason to use hindtrick, hartribbon, and the rest more but if i can't handle it on top of everything else i don't want to pile on more than i can manage <3 if i can reply to like 90% of my threads by the end of today i'll consider it a sign i can actually manage it. i guess i did finish this woops

Cat name and bio: Hartribbon A small, sleek tom, roughly abyssinian in color with his brown-gold pelt, a palette of aged gold and copper tones. To others he presents a personality to match his siblings', maintaining a certain formality and reservedness about him while still maintain a certain tacir arrogance, an atmosphere about him that seems to imply anyone around him is lucky enough to stand in his presence. pic <3
How will your cat get along with Ocean? How does your cat feel about her as leader?: In all honesty, I imagine Hartribbon has a lot of feelings, but they can kind of be summed down to: He thinks his older sister would have been best to be in charge, but beyond her he could care less about who is leading Sunclan, but long as they're not leading them to their obvious death. I think though, Oceanstar and Hartribbon might start off a little tesy, but so long as Oceanstar kind of gives Hartribbon space and the freedom to kind of do what he wants to do on the side while being deputy, they'll get along fine. He's serious about his work, and despite his slightly over-dramatic and sort of "I'm too good to be here" exterior he keeps up, he can be a really good guy and a really loyal friend. He does have a lot of eccentricities though. He has the whole mad scientist "This position as deputy will be so good to further my own scientific goals!" energy that I think could be fun as heck to play off of between the two of them; it can be that whole tense energy where like, technically he isn't a bad guy and he's a good deputy, but Oceanstar is always kind of looking over her shoulder at him with like that uneasy sense of like "What in the heck is he even doing?" half the time.
How will your cat and Lacelily get along?: I think they'll get along well. I always like the idea Hartribbon had always wanted to be a medicine cat, he had a lot of interest in herbs and healing and all that other cool stuff, and always though talking with gods and deities and the dead was a really neat concept. To some extent he actually might be a bit jealous of her position, but at the end of the day he respects it. He might casually harass her for info and use the title of Deputy to force her to talk with him though, which will either in hilariously well or baddly.
How does your cat feel about the former SunClan traditions being completely eradicated?: I imagine Hartribbon has never cared a ton one way or another for Sunclan tradition. He's one of those people with more family pride than clan pride at the end of the day, slightly closer to his own family and siblings than he was his clan-mates when everything came down to it, and that probably seperated him a bit from Sunclan's traditions and way of life in a unique way. I imagine he might be outwardly a little salty with everything being overhauled, but honestly inside I like to think Hartribbon is a bit of an adrenaline junkie and always a little chaotically excited to see things get absolutely thrown on their head. Especially if he can have his paw in it.
Does your cat follow StarClan?: I always like to think of Hartribbon as a spiritualist who sucks up to whatever sky daddy gives him the information he wants at the end of the day. Ghosts, the dark forest, Starclan, the Sun god, the Moon god even. But he has no ill-will against Starclan, he certainly believes they exist and if they're the ones who are talking to him at the end of the day he's perfectly happy to be following them. It's really a transactional exchange; although I imagine he prefers Starclan to someone like a singular, egostistical god that you have to get on your side in spite of their ever-changing whims; at leats if you tick off one Starclan cat there's probably a few other you can bargain with, and at the end of the day, Hartribbon is inclined towards being good.

How does your cat feel about RR?: I think Hartribbon is fascinated by it, but saying how he feels about it is hard. It's kind of like gawking at creatures in a zoo for him, or I guess more like taking a very irreverent tourist trip to learn about culture but instead of learning the nuiances and history he's gawking at their drinking traditions. I know for one he thinks the guider and auxiliary position is neat, but I think the fact that RR seems to put so much more emphasis on cats who are able bodied physically rather than at their peak mentally with a matter of slight disgust to him. As someone who himself is not super physically skilled and has always got by through using his wits, I imagine he's not super thrilled with who RR ranks the most useful in their system. But again, he treats them more as something to watch and an odd enigma that with any sort of seriousness beyond that. He doesn't have strong opinions really, beyond, "Well, they're certainly unusual!" Also I guess he appreciates that they let them stay with them, but he considers that like bare minimum hospitality considering the clans prior relationship.
