Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Eveninglily was becoming more and more detached from SummerClan with every passing day. No matter how hard she tried to establish relations with her clanmates, everything just felt so ... well, blah, to put it nicely. There didn't seem to be much of a point to anything these days, and the once chipper apprentice was now a jaded garden keeper. She thought her malaise had gone mostly unnoticed, until Foxfable had approached her this morning to tell her that she was to accompany Woodflight. She had aqcuiesed with little complaint, although she couldn't figure out for the life of her why she had to join him. Couldn't the other treasure hunters entertain their own? There was a part of her though that was relieved; at least this would get her out of the camp for a bit.
She padded to the tom's side, offering him a nod. "Ready?"
Woodflight looked around camp for his companion. Legs caked in mud and fur ruffled, either it wasn’t his first time out of camp today or he hasn’t washed off since yesterday; either way he still had plenty of energy as he stood up straight when he spotted Eveninglily and cheerily nodded at her.
“Ready as they come,” he assured her. He stretched his back long and slow in the sunlight, then turned and led the way out of the camp. “So, you find any cool things lately?”
She followed behind him with little pep in her step, letting out a soft sigh. "Nope," she meowed honestly. "I've never been on one of these treasure hunting things. Trust me, I'm as confused about why I'm joining you as you are." Since specializing in den watching, Eveninglily hadn't even been out of camp very often anymore, instead sinking into the corners of camp where she thought she went unnoticed whenever she didn't have another job she could do. "How bout you? This your first rodeo?"
