Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
He looked a little bit worn down, but that was probably just because it had taken him a ... long time to make it to the Regime's territory. Of course, Sunstar could have sent someone who could have gotten the information she needed much faster than him, but dealing with other clans gave him good training for his eventual role, even if it meant that he had to go on missions that made him wheeze a bit more than normal. Plus, he'd been a Coast Guard not long ago, so he was used to traveling distances. Plus, being a little tired meant that there wasn't as much space for the tom to become anxious, and dealing with other groups always produced a large amount of anxiety in him.
As he reached the border, he let out a sigh. Remember, you're here to sus out the situation, the small voice in his head said. That was his task; he just needed to decide whether or not SummerClan should be nervous. That wouldn't be hard, right? Foxfable blinked his large silver eyes, before his ears perked at the sound of upcoming footsteps...

Darn this snow! Jagger inwardly cursed as he trudged through the thick snow once more, he couldn't wait to be out of it. It was no wonder they could never find any prey like this. With every step snow crunched audibly under the ginger tom's paws. Once again he was headed towards the border, out of the regime's territory. Even the flooded ruins of the survival clans held better opportunity for prey than The Regime's. To the commander's credit though he never allowed his cats or himself to trespass on any claimed territory. He didn't feel the needs to remind SunClan though, still he kept an eye out as best as he could seeing as he had no control over the refuge clan's actions.
"Oh no, what is it now?" He sighed in barely, and by that I mean not at all veiled exasperation as he spotted Foxfable. Admittedly he wasn't familiar with any SummerClan cats personally but, he'd seem them at gatherings, just enough to be able to recognize the deputy.
"Don't tell me SummerClan is on fire too."

Foxfable's eyes widened slightly. "Uh... no, not at all. At least, not to my knowledge. I haven't been there since dawn, so I mean, I guess it's plausible that they've set themselves on fire since I left, but I don't think it's likely at least," he meowed, the youthfulness that plagued him clear in his awkward tom. "That'd be pretty impressive if they did, though. Fire's are almost as exciting as the sea monster we found the other day." They hadn't actually found a sea monster, but Foxfable had convinced a bunch of apprentices that the weird shape on the horizon wasn't just a piece of driftwood. Was he babbling now? He was often babbling.
"But no, as long as things haven't changed, we aren't on fire," he meowed with a definitive nod. "Sunstar sent me your way because we have a little 'We hope you're settling in well to your new-old territory' gift!" He pointed with his tail to the small pack that sat at his feet. "You must be Commander Jagger?"

"Well that's something to be thankful for at least." The ginger tom's tone, however, sounded anything but grateful as he regarded Foxfable's quirking a brow as the SummerClan deputy seemingly wound himself up as he continued talking. Both convincing and unconvincing himself of his clan's safety. Schrödinger's fire. Up until he mentioned a gift from Sunstar. It was then that Jagger had noticed that the scrawny cat had in fact, brought something with him. A re-welcome home present at that.
"I am indeed commander, though I am also confused as to why Sunstar went through all the trouble of sending you all the way out here with a gift. Though Jagger suspected that the SummerClan leader was just thrilled to have the Regime away from their borders. To him she might as well just of shouted at them to stay gone when they left, it would of had the same affect.

"We're just friendly!" he assured him, responding a littttle bit too fast as to not be suspicious. However, the eagerness in his tone obscured this underlying suspicon; after all, Foxfable was about as intimidating as a blade of grass and more innocent looking than your average tom who had only been a warrior for four moons. So much had happened in that time, but he had prided himself in the fact that it hadn't taken his spark, at least not yet.
"We know that things have been a little.... tumoltuous for you all recently, and we just wanted to show you a gesture of good will. Wanna see what I've brought? I picked them all myself - SummerClan's finest~!" he purred, reminding the world that he wasn't a warrior, or at least, he'd been officially promoted as a garden keeper.

Jagger's whiskers twitched in amusement as he regarded Foxfable. His gaze didn't soften but there was a light in his eyes now that hadn't been there a moment ago. He didn't necessarily buy into the bit that SummerClan was just being friendly. However, he did believe that the deputy had come here with mildly good intentions, if not an ulterior motive that the commander couldn't quite place in the moment.
