Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Even the sounds of the nocturnal creatures that normally were the loudest seemed to have chosen that night to lower their voices to a dull, barely perceptable hum. It was clearly not a good night for hunting, and the tom wasn't exactly helping himself. It wasn't odd for Windsweptashes to take the lesser-used paths of the forest to try and slightly avoid random encounters with other clan-mates out on the hunt, but of course, there was a reason said paths were lesser used. Normally, spring would have brought a certain bountifulness of prey that would make even the less ideal hunting spots have the stray unwary squirrel or mouse, but tonight it seemed not a hint of recent prey passing through could be caught in the air.
It was bad enough that the tom, much to his dismay, eventually had to accept that there would be no good hunting out in the more lonesome parts of the territory that night, and with a defeated air to his steps, started heading towards where he knew there would be more prey - and more cats. Even still, he took care to be as quiet as possible when moving through the forest overgrowth, in some vain attempt to not be noticed.
