Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Emberburn growled angrily at the fox and took the opportunity to dart forward and rake his claws along the fox's nose, spraying blood on the ground underpaw. The fox yelped and retreated, for now. But Emberburn had a feeling they'd be seeing the fox again on their trip back to MoonClan. "That was close!" he said, shaking out his fur from the run. He turned around and scanned the barn around them. There was two levels and it smelled heavily of mice. "This actually looks like a cozy place." he commented.

Sightline was panting as she looked around. "It does actually. And the amount of prey! It's everywhere!" She exclaimed. She turned around in a circle excitedly, like a kit. "You want to see who can catch more mice?" She teased playfully.
Emberburn cast one more suspicious look at the hole, hoping the fox didn't find another way in before turning back to Sightline. "We can if you want, but we both know I'm gonna win!" He joked playfully darting off to a far corner where he could hear and smell several mice.

She dashed off the other corner, a smile on her face. After a while, she had managed to catch five mice and had hopped up on a bale of hay to look at her catch. She looked at Emberburn with an air of pride as she showed off what she had caught. "Well look, a feast." She said with a haughty accent.
Emberburn dropped his catches on the bale beside Sightline's. He'd caught three very plump mice. He marveled for a few moments at how much fatter these barn mice were compared to the ones in the forest. "I don't think these mice are used to having anyone hunting them." he replied with an amused twitch of his whiskers.

"That explains why they're so fat!" She quipped. She gave a quick prayer and almost tucked into her mouse, but paused and gave one of hers to Emberburn. "It tastes better if you aren't the one who caught it." She said before looking away a little embarrassed. I'm not thinking straight am I? Ugh, what am I doing?
Emberburn gazed quizzically at Sightline before bursting out in laughter. "That's an interesting theory, who told you that?" he asked, genuinely amused by her statement. He grabbed the mouse she'd given him and bit into it.

"My father did actually..." She said, a twinge of sadness in her voice. "He used to bring us our favorite prey when we were apprentices." She looked at him with an intense look.
"Have you ever had salmon?"
She kept going not waiting for a response. "He was near the waterfall when he caught it and he said that there were hundreds and hundreds of salmon, jumping into and out of the water. He just scooped one up and brought it home. Yeah, it was on NightClan territory, but I guess that's how much he loved us. By the way, one of the best-tasting things I have ever had. It was like the Moon God himself had created it just for us." She laughed, looking off into the distance.
