Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bookmarks: We've had a few concerns about losing threads in the "My Threads" feature, so we're going to try something new and use Bookmarks instead. This is almost exactly the same as a Watchlist on Wikifoundry, except your threads are not auto-bookmarked. To fix this problem, there will now be a giant somewhat annoying banner at the end of every thread you don't have bookmarked reminding you to do so. You also receive notifications when someone replies to a bookmarked thread, unless you turn the feature off in your personal settings.
Character Profiles: As you may have noticed, your character profiles are now linked to from your mini-profile! Hooray!
Q: My link is wrong/I don't have one! What now? A: If it's wrong... oops sorry. If you don't have one, you didn't have a character profiles thread when this feature was added! Go make one.
Q: Thanks! I hate it. How do I uninstall? A: If you edit your personal settings, find the field Character_Thread_Number and erase everything inside it. Now you won't have a link.
How to Change/Add the Link: This is super easy.
1) Go to your character profile thread. Take the number out of the URL. 2) Put that number into the field labeled Character_Thread_Number under your personal settings. 3) Save.
Compliments Thread:
Good news, you can now send each other compliments through their mini-profile!
