Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It was rare for the kits to be allowed time without a guard. Magpiekit's eyes had opened to darkness, and it had only stayed that way. Perhaps it was normal, that after a couple of days with their eyes open, they'd finally get to go outside and see the sunlight, the trees and the grass and all the beautiful things in the world, but these kits had only known the darkness of the den they were born in. Prisoners of their mother's den until they were weaned from her.
It had been difficult to understand what was going on; they had only been born recently, and there were still so many things oblivious to them about what was really going on, but kits were kits, and all they understood was the world they could see, and never having seen outside, Magpiekit seemed satisfied with what was around him at least.
The oldest of the siblings nudged his siblings with his muzzle, his tail shaking from the excitement of a new idea. "Hey guys, wake up," he whispered, looking to the entrance of the den quickly, before his attention darted back to the others. "I have an idea for what we can do today!"
Laying soundly in the dark, using her siblings as pillows Wheatkit slept, dreaming about what the world beyond this dark hovel was like. Where the skies really full of glittering white dots? What did the moon look like? Oh how she longed to hear more about the stars and moon, she craved to know what the grass was like. Of course there was the moss in their nest, but that was only one little bit of the outside world, and it was always so dark. She wanted to know it ALL.
hey guys, wake up, the sound of her brothers voice and the nudging of his muzzle pulled Wheatkit from her dreams. "wha-?" she blinked the sleep away only to be greeted again by the darkness around her. Her fluffy coat was all disheveled and standing up on one side of her face. she looked at her brother half asleep still.
I have an idea for what we can do today! her dreams faded away, "what can we do?" she huffed, she was cozy. "It's small and stuffy in here and the guards always tell us to keep it down." She glanced at the entrance longing to play outside, to chase her siblings under the moonlight.

Magpiekit's eyes brightened in mischief, his golden gaze twinkling in the dim light. "Yeah, I know," he replied in a hushed tone, as he huddled next to the two of them, sneaking brief glances at the dozing guards. "They're always guarding the entrance but...what if we try sneaking out a different way?"
He scrambled forward, towards a corner of the den where a few rocks had come loose. "I saw a mouse come through here the other day," he announced, "and I mean, we're still pretty small, you know...maybe we could try sneaking out like the mouse? I mean if it's too small we can try and make it a bit bigger, right? We might even get to catch something for mama to eat!"
Magpiekit had her sold with the words 'sneaking out' "I'm in!" she mewed in an exited whisper. This was her chance! she wanted to get out! Wheatkit checked out the whole, With a brisk nod " we can totally fit!" giving the whole a quick test, awkwardly shuffling out backwards.
