Hello everyone! I'm sure many of you have noticed there has been some shifting around in the admin team as Fox has stepped down from Communications Manager. Please wish her all the best and send her lots of love <3 We decided from there that I would shift into the Communications Manager role and Shadow is taking over as Entertainment Manager. That leaves us with an empty spot for Offisite Manager.
Please nominate who you would like to see fill this role. Anyone is up for nominations this time, including yourself. There will be a questionnaire given to the nominees that accept their nomination as soon as it is created that they will fill out and post their responses to on a separate thread. The way this will look is that there will be 6 days of nominations and answering the questionnaire, and 5 days of voting so that we can get this position filled soon. This has been voted and approved by mods as well <3 I understand this is a quicker process than usual so if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask!
As a reminder, here are the duties of the offsite manager (NOTE that coding knowledge is no longer as heavy for the OM because we have moved a lot of it to the LM and the OM duties are subject to change a little depending on whoever takes it over. Our goal is to make this position less intimidating for whoever steps into it next):
The offsite manager takes care of things that are not on the main site of Classic, such as the chats, discord and advertising.
- Making new affiliates or getting to know people on other sites
- Manage the offsite team
- Advertise Classic, Classic’s social media platforms, and making classic more accessible to new users
- Keep WCC2’s history up to date

@ian - Need I say more? If you want someone truly, wholeheartedly devoted to the improvement of Classic, of its culture, and of the communication between all the members of the site (which you should), then ian is the person that everyone should want on their administration team.
lavellan - if there is anyone that is dedicated to classic it’s Evelyn. Not only does she have dedication to the site, but she’s also personally very dedicated to the role of OM already. She’s been compiling classic history behind the scenes for a long time, as well as being an active scientist on the revamp site. She knows what she is doing and her compassion for what she does and the members of this site would make her the best possible person for this position.
Nomination 1 - Kuno this is awkward because she just nominated me but Kuno has been an admin a couple of times before, including Offsite, so I believe that she would do great in the position once again. Like many of us, she cares a lot about the site and has so many great ideas. She's also already very familiar with advertising, as she does have a small business, and is just an all around warm and welcoming person.
