In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
for our bro group. Whether they end up being stock traders, dads, or frat boys is yet to be seen.
He stepped in the abandoned town square with the confidence of a tom who had never once given much consideration to the claims of hauntings or ghosts. While the stories might be fanciful and fun to share when your young they had to be left behind at some point. Ronan had left them behind around the same time another trainee had jumped out to scare him and he had smacked them so hard across the face they were dazed the whole walk back to camp. It was hard to be scared when you were laughing so hard you thought you were going to faint. After that when others might feel chills along their spine Ronan could only recall the other trainees shocked face and chuckle to himself.
Instead he found he rather enjoyed the atmosphere of the isolated little town, with nature overtaking it once more. There was a quiet that laid among the buildings he quite enjoyed. And often that enjoyment was an escape from the hectic aspects found elsewhere in his life; where he couldn't seem to keep anything straight. But today that stillness seemed to be disturbed, broken before he had arrived, "hello?" He dared call.

Since Doefreckle had moved in, Hywel had tried his best to adjust, and on one hand he was excited for the tom to be around, there was a part of him that still felt wary about it all. He still nursed his aching heart and all of its insecurities, even after their emotional talk about...well, everything.
There were afternoons he found himself drifting away from the mansion in an effort to still his beating heart and to clear his muddled mind, and with the patch of sun in the territory only shining into the town square, he had found himself napping in a spot atop what seemed like an old, crumbling town hall. A yawn left his mouth as someone called out a greeting. Was someone there? He didn't realize there were other cats that ventured up into the mountains like he did.
Languishing in a long stretch, he stood, looking down to catch the bright fur of the other tom. Oh. He had seen him once or twice around Reynardine, but he had yet to meet this one. Leaping down, the fluffy silver tom had a faint smirk on his face. "Don't shout too loud," he joked, "or you'll wake the ghosts up."
"I don't believe in ghosts." He was quick to counter with nary a thought before he actually focused on the other. "Hello there though!" His tone turned chipper and he leaned forward to examine them. "You're not a ghost are you? Is that why you spoke of the other ghost so confidently, because your one of them?" He was just teasing but having fun nonetheless with the scenario.
Most cats wouldn't start teasing others they didn't even recall the name of but Ronan was not most cats. His brain to mouth filter was often nonexistent and it either earned him laughs or scorn. He had learned to live and adapt with both reactions; though he always hoped for the first.
A small part of him was a little upset that there was someone around in his quiet spot but it was just as quickly swayed by the prospect of meeting someone new. He could go out again later and find someone deserted to try and sort out his thoughts. Maybe he would just crawl into an abandoned fox or badger den and become a hermit in there for a bit.

Hywel chuckled. "Well maybe you should," he joked, before shaking his head in good humour. It was his sister who believed in things like the three-headed god and all of his faces in the woods; Hywel would've called himself an agnostic. Still, he gave a languished stretch before leaping down to peer at Ronan. He hadn't met this cat before, at least not that he could remember.
"Sorry I don't think we've met," he replied with a small smile, head ducked slightly in that polite, almost charming way he always looked upon others with. "I'm Hywel, what's your name?"
"Ronan." Was the light colored toms response, pearly whites flashing with the width of his grin. "Since you're introducing yourself to me I'm going to take that to mean you're not in fact a ghost."
The tom felt like perhaps he recalled the others name somehow, but more than likely it was from the simple fact they lived in the same group. He had most likely heard many of his compatriots names at-least once even if at the time he had paid them no mind. "What are you doing out here, I feel like usually when I wander these parts I'm the only one around."
