Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Come one, come all," announced the kit who sat in front of three piles of moss. Next to the piles was a single acorn. The little tom looked quite proud of himself - he'd been perfecting his little game all afternoon. He was trying to get better at sleight of hand, and after working on it for so long, Zebrakit was very curious on if he'd actually be able to trick a peer.

Buffalokit looked up from the rocks he was playing with at the sound of zebrakits call. Curious he scrambled to his paws, awkwardly large for his small kit body, bounding over he mewed “whatcha doin’?” He sniffed the moss and looked confused at the acorn. “Is it a game?”
"It's more than a game, old boy," he meowed, his voice slightly chiding although brimming with his normal pomp. "It's a magic trick that will change the lives of the world around us." This was objectively a lie, but Zebrakit said it with such confidence. "Care to try your paw?"

His eyes lit up at the thought of magic tricks. "Okay!" He prepared himself to be amazed. "I'm ready!" Buffalokit waited exitedly dancing back and forth with his front paws.
Zebrakit grinned, before revealing the acorn under his paw. "See this little thing? You're going to try to follow it. If you pick the right one, I'll owe you a favor. If you don't, you owe me one. Got it?"
Buffalokit gave him a quick eager nod. He stared at the small acorn determined to win. It seemed simple enough, how hard could following a small object be.
The little tom made a big show of carefully putting the acorn under the middle moss ball, offering a charming smile. "Alright, now remember, watch the acorn," he meowed as he started to move them around in rapid succession. His paws moved at a lightning speed, before he eventually paused, satisfied with his mixing. "Which one is it under, left, middle or right?" he asked, a curious smile on his face.
He stared confidently at the little acorn as Zebrakit placed it under the moss. Left, right, middle, left... The faster Zebrakit got the more his confidence faded, eventually losing track of the small acorn. "um..." the kit mewed nervously. "I think, it is the left?" he wasn't very confident in his answer. "NO WAIT, I will go with the middle." his gut told him he shouldn't have changed it... But decided he shouldn't change again just incase. This was a really sneaky game, he thought. Buffalokit was positive he would be owing his friend a favor very soon.
"The middle?" the tom confirmed with a nod, nudging over the moss ball with his forepaw. There was nothing beneath it, and the tom let out a dazzling smile. "Oof, tough luck," he meowed, before moving on to the left. He nudged it too, and once again, it was empty. That left one last ball, which he too moved to reveal nothing under it. All the while, his other front leg had been tucked against himself, clearly trying to hide something. Still, upon revealing that no moss ball contained the acorn, Zebrakit's eyes widened. "Well, would you look at that! It appears our acorn must have sprouted legs and walked away!"
Looking dumbfounded at the moss, Buffalokit was impressed. He looked this way, and that way, trying to find where the little acorn went. “I don’t think acorns can do that” he joked “How did you do that! I want to try it too!” he squeaked, enthusiastic despite being tricked. Suddenly remembering the favor part he got nervous. “ um so, what favor do I owe you?”
sorry my computer is struggling and so is my writers block
absolutely no worries ! shorter responses are easier on my carpal tunnel so never sweat about length !
Once he saw the other's enthusiasm, his own eyes lit up, and he moved his other paw. The acorn tumbled forward and Zesty let out a deep purr. "Oh, here it is!" he sang, his tail flicking back and forth in amusement. "I can teach ya, if you want? Maybe that can be your favor, you can get us a mouse or somethin' and then you can be my first student!"
Buffalokit’s eyes gleamed, “ I’ll be right back!” He took off for the fresh kill. He searched for a quick second picking out a nice looking mouse and tumbled his way back. “ alright! I am ready to learn sir!” He purred jokingly. Though he really was ready, exited to learn a cool trick. He wondered if he could use it on the elders, and what they would think.
Zebrakit grinned at the tom's offering, flicking his tail contentedly. It was his favorite part of SummerClan, the fact that they could just ... eat whenever they felt the pangs of hunger. Of course, it was still strange to him that his stomach didn't claw into itself; he'd spent more moons than he should have at his age fighting starvation. "Excellent choice, old chap," he purred, before reaching out to take a bite of the mouse. Still half-chewing when he replied again, the tom looked at Buffalokit, offering a "You ever learn a trick before?"

Buffalokit purred at the praise as he settled down, He gave a vigourous shake of his head, "no I haven't learned any tricks." he thought for a secound, there was that time in the garden with Sunstar he thought to himself. "I don't think flower crowns count as a trick anyway." he mused, it was fun getting to learn how, but it wasn't really a trick.
He nodded thoughtfully, taking another bite of the prey. "I suppose I can make that work," he meowed after a moment, tilting his head to the side. "You see, it's really similar motions. You've just gotta be fast and careful with your paws, mm, old chap? All it is is a little sleight of hand. If you move fast enough, distract the other with good conversation, all it takes is a liiittle effort and you can make the acorn disappear."
