Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Foxfable gave himself a quick shake as he stood at the edge of the border. He wasn't going to lie - he was nervous. Meeting with the WinterClan deputy was the first official deputy task that he'd been given. He had big shoes to fill, and the young fella was a little bit unsure that he was going to be able to fill them. After all, he wasn't his mother. But, Sunstar seemed to have faith in him, and if she thought he was capable, he was, right? He took a deep breath. He should have asked Sunveins for some lavender before he left, he thought with a blink. Oh, well. It was too late now. He was already there, right on the border, right where he'd been directed to meet Tuskblood. Sunstar had suggested that he get to know the other deputy since the two clans were in alliance with each other. She was right, of course. It would be good for him to get a chance to interact, if only to learn some diplomacy skills. He let out one last sigh, before the sound of crunching snow alerted him to the other's approach.
He tried to stand up a little taller to make himself look like a full grown adult and not someone who was both chronically undersized and only just over a year old. It... didn't really work for him. He dipped his head respectfully, a kind smile on his face. There was a friendliness that came naturally to him. "Howdy!" he meowed cherrily, a bounciness to his voice that barely concealed the slight anxiety that wrestled in the very back of his mind. "I mean.... good afternoon," he corrected with an embarassed flick of his ear. Be a little more professional, he reminded himself firmly. "I'm Foxfable, the new SummerClan deputy! You're Tuskblood, right?"
