Moles have begun to wake up from their hibernation, and have begun to make tunnels near the waterlogged ruins. Normally moles do not pose much of threat, but the holes they have dug have caused several warriors and apprentices to injure their paws while out hunting. It is time that SunClan took care of the problem, by catching as many of the creatures as possible. It will also help the clan replenish their fresh-kill pile after having to feed three clans.
Vixenpaw had strained her paw a few days ago. By now, she'd fully recovered, but the young tortoiseshell had vowed to get revenge on the pesky little creatures that did this to her. "I will have my vengeance!" she growled.

Hiddencharm coudn't help but to chuckle at the young apprentice's words. "Well you shall have your chance to get your revenge, we have received orders to go and catch as many of pesky creatures as possible. We are also supposed to fill any holes that we find to keep others from getting hurt". While Hiddencharm did think that it was mostly inexperienced warriors and apprentices not paying attention that were getting injured, the clan couldn't afford to loose an able set of paws. Their food supply was depleted after having to feed the two other clans on top of their own. They needed all hands on deck, and this patrol would help prevent further injuries and provide the clan with much need fresh kill if the succeeded.
The spotted black-and-ginger apprentice nodded, green eyes blazing with determination. If Vixenpaw wanted anything, it was to be useful to SunClan. Even getting her revenge was just a bonus to helping her Clan, the greatest Clan in the forest. "I can't wait to get my paws on those little buggers." Indeed, her little jet-black paws twitched with anticipation.

"ME etiher, for such a little creature they have caused a lot of trouble" he stomped his foot, but smiled at the younger she-cat. "Now we need to get more cats on board to go hunting"

"I'll join you." Snapdragoncynosure offered, bounding up to the two cats. Though she hadn't had any bad experiences with the creatures, she was all for helping feed the clan, and getting a little vengeance while she was at it. Hopefully they were tasty, otherwise this would be a great disappointment of a hunting patrol.

"That would be great, lets get a move on. I'm sure that more cats will meet us there" he replied, turning to lead the way out of camp. Perhaps that other warriors saw this task as below them, but it was important to keep cats from getting hurt.
