Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lapiskit laid in the comfort of her nest, expressionless with eyes open. The day had spun her into the blues yet again and now here she lay like a boulder. The only movement she was really creating was the slow rise and fall of her flank. Perhaps if she were to do something she would feel more weightless; unfortunately she felt as if she simply could not possibly bring herself to get up.
Rosekit woke with a start, the nightmare she had been having fading away and leaving a weird feeling in her chest. She shuddered, rolling over in her nest to come face to face with her sister. "Hey there Lapiskit," She mewed quietly, noticing her sister just laying there, a blank look in her eyes. She knew her sister and that look usually meant she wasn't in the best mood. "Is everything okay?" Rosekit nuzzled her sister, hoping to give her comfort in some way.
In response to her sister she gave an incoherent mumble of hello, feeling a bout of anxiety as her rhythmic rise and fall slumber was broken. After a moment the question registered in her mind and she turned her gaze to Rosekit. In a more clear voice she responded, "Just a bout of the blues, I guess." With that a heaving sigh escaped her and her gaze fell back to its resting position.
