Merrykit trampled over her brother once more as she chased snowflakes outside the Nursery. It was such a pretty winter day out that she just couldn't help but have fun. After all the storms, how could she waste such a wonderful playtime? Giggling and squealing, she kept bouncing after her snowflake. Meanwhile, Ravenkit watched with an exasperated look on his face. How did she have so much energy?

"Careful, or the ghost of blizzards past might come and snatch your souls." A dark, monotone voice came from the shadows. A moment later followed the dark furred figure with large, round amber eyes. He had been watching the kits roll around and play and squeal. The dead loved the squeals of small unattended kits. It attracted them and he could hear them loudly now.
