Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Things in NightClan had grown intense. The new leader was shown to be ruthless and cruel. He'd turned the clan upside down, even more than Aspenstar had managed. Things had gotten bad, and Primrosetuft found herself wanting to get away. Her mind was absent, and far off. She'd walked and walked until her paws ached, and she hadn't even realized she'd passed the border into the neighboring clan, DayClan. The black cat's mind was so far off, it truly was an honest mistake. Her eyes clouded over as she was lost in thought, her paws carrying her and even tripping once in a while. She was sure she had a thorn in her paw. It ached, and the slight sting of blood in the air followed her. Yet, she was still absent. Just walking, almost like a ghost.
Primrosetuft found herself fearful of the leader. Fearful to lose her life or be starved out. She was a member of the loyal guard who had to pledge her loyalty once again to a crazy cat. She felt robbed of her home, and robbed of the life she was once content with. It was such an empty feeling, and she found herself wishing out. Yet, NightClan was her home... how could she abandon those she had grown with, and cared for as a warrior. The kits she helped feed, the apprentices she helped train, the borders she helped secure.
Lionpaw was patrolling the borders with Night Clan, when he felt the scent of an intruder in his territory. He followed the scent, until he found a black cat, that seemed lost. "Who are you?" He said approaching the trespasser. "This is Day Clan's territory you know? You can't be walking around freely around"
She jolted, as if something had just slapped her with their claws, and she'd been asleep. Her eyes rounded in shock, and she realized that she was surrounded by DayClan scent. An apprentice... Embarrassment was hot on her cheeks, and they were red underneath her fur with a blush. "I..." She stumbled over her words, and then felt the sharp pain began to ebb into her paw. She lifted it slightly, and looked down quickly. What..? Primrosetuft's eyes were confused, and it was clear that something had distracted this warrior to the point of accidentally crossing a border with no harmful intentions.
"I... I'm sorry." She stammered, shaking her head, and taking a few steps back. "I must have just um.. not been paying attention." She scrambled over her words, attempting to figure out a way to talk herself out of this without a fight. She was sure there must be warriors near by, and there was no promise they would not be hostile to a NightClan cat on their territory.
"I hope you know how to fight, because I feel the urge to kick some cats" Lionpaw grinned at the intruder. "That is what I would say if i would mean harm to you" The apprentice smiled. "I know that i should attack you and all, due to the fact that you are a NC cat, but it would be sad winning so easily. Sorry, but you don't look like much of a threat to me" He said raising his shoulders, then sitting down. "So what are you going to do?"
Snowblister, the Nightclan deputy, had been keeping an eye on the old Loyal Guard members, save for Moonblight. For the most part she kept her distance, watching from afar, getting cats to listen in on their conversations even when they felt they were alone, but occasionally her curiosity got the best of her. As Primrosetuft left the camp, downtrodden and fearful, the grey-point followed. It wasn’t immediate, just enough to keep her in sight, and when they neared the Dayclan border, she stopped to stay in the shadows.
For a while she watched as Primrosetuft and the apprentice conversed, crouched low to the ground, blue eyes glinting. Finally, she stepped out, keeping her steps light, keeping her pose as threatening as possible. She appeared behind Primrosetuft, glowering at them both.
“She won’t be doing anything,” Snowblister smiled, but there was nothing warm in there, “why, I’m not too sure why she is here in the first place! You have no need to worry yourself,” she let her gaze linger on Lionpaw for a moment before turning it away, moving to stand just beside the former Loyal Guard member.
Primrosetuft pressed her lips together as the apprentice spoke. She wanted to scoff at the words that he spoke. She was a decent fighter, she'd just been absent minded! Shaking her head she was just about to reply when she heard the voice of Snowblister. Oh great... It was almost impossible not to flinch at her sudden voice. The black feline found herself flicking her ears back slightly, her head dipping down.
"Snowblister..." She greeted with a low voice, yet avoided the feline's gaze the best she could manage. Primrosetuft found herself wishing she had Aspenstar back, the real Aspenstar before she had went all crazy...
