Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. She couldn't bring herself to move. The black she-cat had been sleeping, now she was starting to feel the first signs of wakefulness as slowly the memories of where she was flooded back into her conscious. She looked small, almost frail in her makeshift nest. Her fur unkept from going days with grooming herself. Opening her eyes she was met with the sight of the early morning light casting a gray hue on the forest around her. The bleakness of it weighing heavily on her heart, and an all too familiar pain caught in her throat.
It had been several days since The Battle between Shule's Regime, WinterClan, SunClan and DayClan. Several days since her her family was ripped away from her. Either taken in battle or swallowed up by the earthquake that ripped through the front lines taking countless casualties with it. Shae squeezed her eyes shut at the memory. After her father, the former commander Mars had disappeared when she was young the mercenary had done her best to live up to the Escale name. With Shule and so many others from her family gone she might as well be the last of a dying breed. She hadn't brought herself to go look for survivors yet, too afraid that it would confirm her fears and there'd be no one left.
