Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Sundown. Silksiren perched on a flat rock, eyes half closed as she drank in the last of the fleeting sun’s warmth. There was a late afternoon chill in the air, but the breeze carried pleasant scents of the surrounding forest. Cold scents, but ones that made all the bustle of camp a distant memory. It was rare to find the lithe huntress in such a loafing state, with her sapphire eyes hidden behind a canopy of black lashes; but don’t let appearances deceive. Her senses were vigilant for a sign of any approaching movement.
Midnightgarden had been allowed to hunt by Kier as long as she returned with whatever prey she had caught. It was usually the loyalists of Kier that was fed first, and then whatever remained was divvied up among whoever had caused the least amount of trouble for Kier and his followers that day. Midnightgarden was thankfully considered a loyalist as long as she continued doing whatever Kier asked, but she couldn't help feeling conflicted over the kits who were ripped away from their mothers and forced to join Snowblister's nightly trainings. When she had attempted to casually question Kier about the extent of the training, especially for the younger kits, he had become outraged and told her to never question him again. Midnightgarden had quickly apologized and assured him that she thought the trainings were good for the young cats of the clan. She was so preoccupied that she almost hadn't noticed Silksiren sunbathing on a flat rock.
