Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It... looked different. The City of Ash as they knew it was gone. Completely gone. All the ash had been cleaned up, and all of the rotting vehicles only left holes in the ground where they used to be. The humans also planted little saplings everywhere in what was the City. In a few years time, the place would look like another part of the forest. Amazing. Ravenstar bent his nose to the ground and took a long inhale. He couldn't even detect any trace of ash there. Though they were complete numbskulls, Ravenstar had to admit the humans had some powerful tools, ones he would kill to get his paws on. He looked back to his patrol. "Spread out, see if they left anything behind, or if they have any dens around here." His gaze turned forward. "This seems almost too good to be true."
Puzzlemaker stood in the beginnings of new life, the saplings reaching towards the sky despite their smaller stature. But they would take years to grow, so despite the good signs towards the reclamation of the forest there would still be a history refusing to be buried for years to come. Shaking his head he moved off towards another area, keeping his eyes peeled but not seeing any sign of twolegs outside the occasional piece of trash that seemed to populate anywhere twolegs spent any amount of time. He sometimes wondered if they shed garbage for how often it seemed to follow them wherever they went.
As the patrol dispersed Ravenstar found himself even more amazed at the twoleg's work. If he had left his clan here when they came, they no doubt would have been buried beneath the earth. Or worse. He stopped between two unceremonious holes in the ground. He knew what they were. The trees in the ash itself had long since died. Somehow, the twolegs managed to uproot entire trees. If only he could get them to do something like that to SunClan... He sighed. "I've got nothing. Anyone else got anything?"
Puzzlemaker looked up and blinked towards Ravenstar, "nothing!" He reported before moving over towards the tom. The riddle was on the tip of his tongue but he dragged it down, it wouldn't do to aggravate the new leader with his whims. "Well other than trash and the like, but if we want to clear that out we can have a small patrol of some mentors and apprentices come gather it up and dispose of it."
Maybe those humans were good for something after all, if they could ignore the countless other damages that they had done to the territories over the years. He snorted and rubbed his paw over the soil. It was too fresh, almost looked like it was brought in from somewhere far, far away. "It is not necessary, but we can make these into something. I don't know what yet, but there must good training use for these gaping holes... perhaps repeated jumps." He imagined the apprentices leaping from one hole to the other for hours on end. "Perhaps... what do you think?"
"I feel like perhaps a simulated battle might be better. An area with obstacles and hazards where they have to use the landscape to their benefit." He replied with a small shrug, surveying the area with a critical eye. "Perhaps we can split the apprentices and mentors into teams, and each has a.. treasure the other wishes to capture. The first team to capture the others treasure and return it is declared the victor." He paused before tacking on, "of-course it could be used for other things as well when scenarios aren't being run on it."
