Ayala liked the new living arrangements far more than the City of Ash. The place was actually dry, and breathing could be done without labor. She was not breathing in the remains of whatever human ruins they found. She simply could live how she wanted, and the apprentice-aged she-cat could not have been more thrilled. Sure, not having a formal mentor sucked, but there were still ways to learn, and learn she would. She snuck from the camp and into the depths of the territory in an instant. She tracked down another cat, and just watched them hunt and went about their day. That is, until someone noticed.
