Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Ah...Good morning mom!" Lionpaw said while getting on his feet."Sorry!I think I overslept... Yesterday was crazy..." He wasn't sure what happened anymore, did he dream?"Anyway, I'll better go! I don't want Glowstar to have to wait!"
Lionpaw saw Glowstar standing near the base of the wisteria tree."Hello Glowstar!" Lionpaw purred."What are we going to learn today?"he asked, with curiosity.
"Every apprentice I always give three options! Psychological warfare, assassin training, or anatomy. I think you're a little too young for anatomy so let's do psychological warfare or assassin training, which would you like?" Glowstar offered.
"Good choice, let's go out for a hunt to demonstrate," Glowstar suggested. Nudging him gently she led him towards Endless Falls. Seating herself she stared up at the morning sun before focusing on the water, "Let's play a little game. How long until the ducks in the pond fly off?" She asked, gesturing to the ducks in the pond.
"Huh?" Lionpaw was confused. "How should I know that?" Lionpaw said.He looked at the ducks in the pond."Uh, i don't know...Maybe like 5 seconds?" Lionpaw said smiling, right before jumping in the water, making the ducks fly away
Glowstar grinned, rubbing the top of Lionpaw's head, "Like that," She purred, "You did a good job, that's exactly what I hoped you would do. Taking destiny into your own paws is an important thing to do. There are some destinies you can learn and others you have to be clever about. Look up in the sky and without forcing fate to happen guess what bird will fly past the sky. It seems impossible right, how can you know that? But think about what you do know, it's morning, the suns up, we're near a water source in a particularly forested area of our land and it's leafbare. Now think about what kind of birds come out during this time. Most likely you'll see a mourning dove," Glowstar said right as a mourning dove flew by, "I could have been wrong though, could have been a finch. Nothing's absolute, but you can increase your odds through knowledge. You'll need to do that, learn as much as you can about this world."
"That's deep" Lionpaw said looking at his leader."Wait! I just heard your destiny!" He suddenly said."It told me soon you r gonna get wet..." And as he said that, he pushed Glowstar into the water
Glowstar's ears perked up, did he have omen abilities too?
Before she knew it she was splashed into the pool of water, second time this moon. Moving up her now dripping head a smile played at her lips, "Big mistake." With that she gripped onto Lionpaw tossing him into the water too, snickering all the while, "Y'know before there was SwiftClan there was WaterClan. Back when I was a Primal Instinct cat I was placed in WaterClan as a spy, learned to swim quite a bit. 'Course I'm leaving the gorey details of the mission, but still, hanging out at a water park to spy on the WaterClan leader was fun."
She looked at Lionpaw curiously, "You know how to swim yet?"
"Ugh....Now my fur will need a lot of time to dry out" Lionpaw said to his leader. - We should drown her for that - The voice appeared in Lionpaw's head out of nowhere."I can't do that!" Lionpaw yelled without a warning (it looked like he was crazy, talking with no one).
"Hearing voices in your head? Y'know that happened to my first mate, drove him to madness," Glowstar commented casually, "But now there's medicine for that type of thing. Unless it's an actual demon, then I guess that's a little more complicated."
"Oh, there is no demon or anything like that..." Lionpaw said. "It's pretty complicated actually...The voice is me, but at the same time it is not me. It first appeared after I used my power for the first time, and now i can't get rid of it." Lionpaw sighed, before looking at Glowstar. "The worst part it is that it tells me to do bad stuff"
