Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
[ Credit to childe for the idea they provided in their summerclan thread. Reminded me a bit of how I would roleplay in my facebook group and figured I would make one too. Thanks Childe! ]
[ Nectar is an abnormally large she-cat who was frequently bullied for being the largest she-cat in the loner group she was born into. Her sisters were a more normal size and prettier then she was. Due to the bullying Nectar was experiencing her sisters started to join in on the teasing and started feeling more superior to their sister. In this thread Nectar plans to join Primal Instinct after hearing rumors that they do not care about how the cat looks but rather what they can provide to the group. You could respond as one of the sisters of Nectar or maybe a former member of the loner group she grew up in. I am also cool with just a standard roleplay! ]

Her paw steps were not graceful or quiet as she strolled towards her destination. The calico Maine Coon allowed leaves to crunch under paw and her wide shoulders to rustle the bushes she forced herself past. The idea of sneaking around and trying to pretend that she was not an oversized hulking cat seemed not only like too much effort but could also leave a bad impression for the group she was desperate to join..... well, group she wanted to join. Nectar was not desperate for anything or anyone. She was an independent, bold she-cat who needed no one. She had lived by herself for the past few moons just fine..... buuuttt it would be nice to be back in a group where she was not sleeping out in the cold and has easy access to food.

(my boy Hywel came from a loch in the north with his sister, so maybe they could've traveled together before?)
There weren't a lot of cats who looked like Hywel, especially not this deep into the forest. The cats of the forest were southerners; few of them held onto such heavy coats as he did, but having grown up in the loch, his thick silver coat mirrored Nectar's just the same, his tail a plume with an almost feather-like quality. Perhaps in the summer, it got a little too warm for him, but the winter was his element.
Since coming to the league, he had spent less and less time with his sister, and after their little fight...well, he spent more and more time on his own, running from his sister, running from the tom he both loved and hated, running from his own fate...
When he stumbled across the she-cat, her familiar face made him stop in his tracks, his eyes widened in recognition. She was one of the cats he had come across after leaving the highlands, a group of them he could remember, a bunch of sisters, wasn't it? He and Rhiannon had stayed with them for a couple of moons before moving onwards. What was her name again?
"Nectar?" he called out, hoping he had the right name, his mouth open in surprise, "is that you?"

She froze in her tracks as a familiar voice called out her name. Did someone from the group follow me? She thought briefly before she locked gazes with a familiar set of eyes. "Hywel?" She definitely was not expecting to see Hywel in the group she was hoping to join, but once she pondered on it she realized that Hywel and his sister had been going in the same direction that their loner group had been going. "What are you doing here?"

It was strange, how meeting a familiar face could teleport him to another time, when he was fresh-faced and still reeling from starting a journey on his own, taking care of a cat barely old enough to be a trainee. "It's been a while, isn't it?"
He didn't exactly know how to explain why he was here without making him sound like a loon. 'Oh yes, my sister dragged me all the way down here because she thought these cats knew how to become immortal without sacrificing kits to a three headed god' wasn't exactly...normal reasons to be here at all. He just gave her a smile, the tight kind that seemed a mixture of uncomfortable and sheepish. "To be honest, we sort of just found ourselves settling in the city first," he admitted, "but then we met some cats, and they let us stay with them, so here we are."
It was strange; he often found his own voice shifting when he met cats of his own heritage, those who had drifted down from the highlands with their melodic tones and their strange slang. These days, he spoke more like the cats of this forest, though the lilt could still be heard. With Nectar, he found himself subconsciously changing back.
"So what'chye dain here?" he asked, tilting his head, "where are yer sisters? I remember you were with a group, nae?"

Nectar shuffled her paws nervously as Hywel asked about her sisters. "Well, we decided to split up for now. They wanted to continue their travels and I wanted to settle down." That was not entirely a lie. She had wanted to find a place to settle down. More particularly, she wanted a place that was accepting. "I was actually looking for a group that supposedly lives in this area. I believe they're called Primal? or Instinct? or something along those lines." Some of the cats who had mentioned the group seemed to call the group different names. There was one thing in common though, these cats were supposedly close-knitted but also dangerous. She was worried about being rejected but maybe if Hywel was in the group then he could put a good word in for her.

Oh? He didn't see Nectar as the type of cat to join the league at all. Then again, he had never seen himself as that type either; he was more friendly smiles and welcoming than these ruffians that chose to dwell here. Perhaps Rhiannon had the ambition and the fire to truly fit in here but Hywel had always stood out like a sore thumb, the only reason he meshed well with the others was because of his devil-don't-care attitude and that flirtatious smile he used on everyone.
"Are you sure you want to join?" he asked, tilting his head curiously, "I mean...they just don't seem like your type of cat...no offense. Some of them can be a little..." He wasn't so sure what the right word was. "–let's just say they're not the nicest group in the forest, but if you're sure..."
He gestured towards her. "Walk with me," he gave her a smile, "and tell me about your journey down here."

Nectar felt her heart skip a beat as Hywel flashed a smile her way. He had always been like that, even when they traveled together moons ago. She did not have a crush on him or anything, but that smile of his could cause any she-cat's heart to flutter. She bounded towards Hywel's side to walk in sync with him. "Why do you think they wouldn't be a good fit? I have heard several different stories during my travels but overall, they seem pretty accepting if you dedicate your body to them." Her words were based solely off the opinions of rogues and loners who typically avoided the area where the clans and groups lived in. Maybe they were not as trustworthy as she figured? Or maybe they were. She did recall a few telling her that the cats in Primal Instinct were savages and soulless, but if Hywel and his sister was in the group then certainly they couldn't be but so bad.

He didn't want to scare her off, but frankly, the league had been an interesting place to settle into. The way she spoke of them made it sound so simple, but he knew that the reality of it was so very different. Hywel had walked into this, thinking they were just some scrappy group of rogues like everything else and yet...there was something about this place that seemed so vaguely similar from the land he hailed from.
"I guess you can say that," he gave her a quiet chuckle, "but when they say dedicate your body to them, they really mean it sometimes. They're not just hunters and guards; they have assassins, cats trained to just kill." He didn't mention that he was rather familiar with one of the assassins himself, and that the most terrifying part was how they didn't seem terrifying at all.

"Assassins?" Nectar breathed, barely a whisper. Suddenly the idea of joining Primal Instinct seemed like a poor one, but Nectar had already come this far and had no plans on turning back now. "I mean... they don't just send assassins out to anyone though, right? Surely it is only cats that truly deserve it." Nectar suggested hopefully. She wasn't evil by no means. She had no plans on ripping out a cat's jugular without at least proof of a wrongdoing first, but something about the way Hywel spoke of them made her question if she might be walking into a group of savages.

Hywel shook his head. He had met the assassin, or at least, one of them. Elizabeth had been dangerous, but dangerous like a drug rather than a knife; it was a pleasure to know her and the thrill of the game was an exciting one, like walking a boundary between danger and a reward. Most of the other cats had been that way too, skidding the line between erratic and meticulous.
"I'm not sure really, but the one I've met wasn't all too bad...as long as you don't get on her bad side," he chuckled, "but they don't hunt their own leaguemates...at least I don't think they do." Now that he thought about it, there was a sort of safety within the ranks of the league, at least from the savagery of their own members. "Maybe it is better to join; you sort of get protection if you do, but at a price..."
