Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
[ Ruinhunter and Ruinguard are twin brothers who have always been joined at the hip. I envision Ruinhunter being the logical, well-mannered, and analytical brother. He is not an emotional person and makes his decisions solely based on facts. Ruinguard is the opposite. He is rambunctious, adventurous, and has a strong sense of justice. He believes in doing what he labels as "right" even if the facts do not support his current beliefs. ]
( On other roleplay websites I was a part of we would typically create the characters as we roleplayed them. We would build how the characters will look together and would decide through roleplaying what their relationship is like. Will these two be close to each other despite their differences, or will they argue with each other and have a difficult time seeing each other's points of view? Are they new to Summerclan or have they been in Summerclan for awhile now? What happened to their parents and siblings? Why did they join Summerclan, and where were they prior to Summerclan? We leave questions like this up to the roleplay. It provides some room for creativity from both sides and allows some spontaneous roleplay! I do not care which twin I roleplay so I will just post a brief roleplay with a setting and allow whoever is interested in this type of roleplay to choose which twin they would prefer to be!)

The duo walked along the shore of the beach with no forethought for their destination. The fresh water rippled with a clear view of the multicolored pebbles that rested underneath the turquoise tinted sea. Overhead seagulls squawked and swooped down to feast upon the unlucky fish that were spotted.
[ I hope you don't mind if I take some creative liberty. Also there names are so similar I thought Ruinhunter would call Guard a nickname. Maybe they could have been loners and he calls him by his birth name? ]
Their steps blended together in the sand, so close they walked, long fur brushing and mixing to form one large cream cloud. Muscular legs didn't mind the water lapping at their paws, pulling the sand below their feet and shifting the very ground they tread upon. It wasn't often he visited his twin brother and even rarer that they dared dwell on the beaches of Summerclan and not meet somewhere neutral. But so closely they blended that they easy molded together. One easily taking the shape of the other and scents so similar it was hard to challenge eithers rights to the the beaches; for they both smelt of ocean spray.
Ruinhunter glanced towards his more free spirited brother and wondered if he shouldn't have come. As Ruinguard had been doing little other than grumbling. His brothers mood was always sour in the winter moons, bad memories associated with the cold winds and suffocating snows. But Ruinhunter had not tread over from Winterclan for his brother to spend their weekly time together sulking like a child.
"Really now brother, must you bring the whole mood down." He sighed and flicked his tail, pausing his steps. "You are ruining the mood; I'm half tempted to just head back home."
[ I am fine with that! What nickname were you thinking? ]
"Well, I don't like the fact we are not living in the same area, and especially not in an area that only has snow. Wouldn't you prefer living here, with your bro, in Summerclan? We have significantly more prey too!" He pouted a bit as he swished his tail at the area around them. "We have an ocean, while Winterclan has what? Some snow on the ground? BORINGGGG!" He stated a bit too loud. Ruinguard was still not used to being separated from his brother. They had always been joined at the hip ever since they were kits. Now they were separated and in areas that were polar opposites from each other. He missed his brother, and inwardly he knew that if they were caught their visits would have to end. As of now the plan was for one of them to hide should another warrior spot them, but how long before they smell the scent of Winterclan upon his brother's coat?
[ It depends on what you want his previous name to be! ]
"You are being needlessly over-dramatic." Ruinhunter sighed with a wave of his tail. "The differences in our clans serve us well, like the differences in out natures. After all, one of us has to be the responsible one." He reminded his brother. For all that they were the same age he always felt like Ruinguard was moons younger in his brash nature and dramatics. "I would hate Summerclan, it's too warm. I have no idea how you survive here with your long coat. I am also a horrible swimmer." Both poor arguments truthfully, but he would not tell his brother the true reason. Not unless he was under a truly dire threat that forced his hand, he had no desire to hurt Ruinguard and the knowledge would do just that.
"Ughhh... fine, I will accept it, but I won't like it!" Ruinguard groaned. "and the weather in Summerclan is amazing! If I get too hot I can just drive straight into the ocean. Let me demonstrate!" Ruinguard diverged from the side of his brother and took a few steps backwards. Doing a running start the tom bounded towards the ocean and hit the rippling water with a loud SPLASH. There was a few seconds of silence with only a few air bubbles coming to the surface before they eventually stopped and Ruinguard broke the surface. "DID YOU SEE THAT?!" He yelled out.
[ perfect! Ruinhunter's previous name will have been Jasper! ]
"I saw you making a fool of yourself Theo... as always." Ruinhunter sighed, swishing his tail and leaning his head to the side. He took a seat in the sand and watched his brother in the water. "It's the middle of winter, you're going to freeze to death. Our coats are too long and take forever to dry out."
"Get out of the water and over here so I can help warm you up." His tail lashed in agitation kicking up sand as he shifted on his paws. He refused to stand up though and let his brother realize how agitated he was getting by the others extending time in the ocean.
"It is only cold when you first get in!" Ruinguard called out as he paddled to shore. The long-haired tom came out of the ocean dripping wet with his usually fluffy fur slicked back due to the water. Once he approached Ruinhunter he proceeded to shake his entire body in an attempt to dry himself which sent droplets of water Ruinhunter's way. "Seems it is kind of hard to get dry..." he commented. The tom seemed slightly uncomfortable due to the winter air blowing onto his soaked pelt, but he tried his best to hide his expression from his brother.
"Why must I be cursed with a fool of a brother." Ruinhunter scoffed as he jerked away from his brother and the water he was flinging about. But all the same when Theo settled he leaned forward and started grooming his fur, sharing his scent with his brother who had just washed off his own. Though it would mean Ruinguard would go back to his camp smelling of winterclan. He supposed his brother would just have to deal with it and lie; he should have known better to get into the water.
"Ruinhunterrrrrr!!!" He groaned in annoyance as his brother began to groom his fur, but the tom made no efforts to try to remove himself from his brother's tongue. He enjoyed the feeling of his brother's tongue drying his fur. It reminded him of the time they were kits and would get covered in mud, only to be scolded by their mother and forced to wash each other clean. "I assume this means I will have to visit Winterclan next time?" Ruinguard asked.
"It's for the best. We have a new leader and Wintrystar has seemingly disappeared for good." He mumbled between his work glancing towards his brother. That had been one of their most frequent arguments in the past moon; the danger of living in a clan and essentially under a tyrant. "Indigocrown seems must more, well adjusted. Already they have cleared out most of the former knights and the witch and pupil. There are so many new faces to adjust to. But I have high hopes that things will go well."
"Wow, Wintrystar is truly gone? I know that was the biggest danger to our visits over there, so that's great news!" Ruinhunter purred. He shook his fur out again and started to run around his brother excitedly. "I mean I hate the cold but it would be nice to see what Winterclan is like compared to Summerclan! I mean I know we can't go into the camp, but even just seeing the surrounding territories will be exciting!" His brother stated enthusiastically as he continued to run around his brother in an attempt to dry out his fur. He eventually skidded to a halt which sent bits of sand flying in all different directions. "What do you think happened to Wintrystar, anyway? I've heard rumors floating around Summerclan that a lot of leaders have vanished recently. Aspenstar of Nightclan, Greenstar of Dayclan, Littlestar of Sunclan... the list goes on. Do you think they all got into a massive fight and killed each other but they don't want the clans who didn't participate to know?" He wondered aloud.
"Well I suppose of that's what happened good riddance. Leaders who would fight to the death in such a bloody battle, who would loose more than a single life in such a foolish fight aren't very good leaders after all." He sniffed and shook himself out to try and shake sand out of his long fur but more endeared by Ruinguards messy nature than annoyed. "It does leave quite a power vacuum though, it will be interesting to see how things pan out. Still it isn't something we should concern ourselves with as it can get a little dangerous."
"I will admit, I have been kind of patrolling the local borders on my own just to see if I can get some cross clan news. Nightclan hasn't been very friendly recently though, and when I called out to them they tend to get super aggressive. I wonder if they think we hurt Aspenstar or something?" Ruinguard said as he lifted his back leg and started to itch at his ear to get the sand out of it. "Dayclan is still nice as ever though. Apparently there is a well known former Dayclan member, Peachblush, who is trying to pick up the pieces over there since Greenstar apparently disappeared. The patrol I talked to was kind of small too, and I didn't recognize any of the members of it aside from one. I guess they have gotten some new members." Ruinguard explained aloud. "So what has changed in Winterclan, or are you kind of unsure? I know you were still a prisoner for the most part when Wintrystar was leader. I still can't believe you agreed to even be a prisoner."
