Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Woah throwback to 2010 classic, do we even have plot tryouts anymore? WELL TIME TO BRING THEM BACK!
Now that I've gotten that out of my system, let's get down to business. As you all know our wonderful Jet has stepped down as leader and now Shadow has stepped with her character Draven (go check him out on the Springclan page!).
Now in order to sign up you do NOT have to be a member of Springclan. Anyone can tryout. But what do we need, you wonder?
As the new leader of Springclan, Draven now has to travel to the Moonstone in order to receive his nine lives. However, instead of being greeted by nine of Springclan's former warriors the new leader is met by four Starclan cats (one of which will be played by myself). These former warriors of Springclan rebuff Draven, refusing to give him his lives because of his tortured past details to follow should you be chosen. Come on, we still need some mystery. Three of those cats, however, are not what the appear to be... The Legend of Mortain and his followers...
Mortain. The embodiment of death. Identity amongst others a secret until it is too late. There are those who fear his icy claws, afraid to slip into a sleep they'll never awake from. Not yet ready to join their ancestors in the stars above. Death, unloved by everyone except for a select few. These are the followers of Mortain. They are cats that offer Death their unwavering loyalty.
The followers of Mortain were all desperate at one time or another. Powerless and with barely anything, or anyone, to keep them from doing the unthinkable- selling their souls to Mortain. Death would never take on a follower against their will, nor force them to feel like their choice was stripped from them. To be a true follower, they must come to him willingly; without fail they still do, even after all of these years. Such practices were regarded and seen as evil, an absolute disastrous, wicked thing to do. But Mortain took care of each of his followers, ensuring they felt like they belonged even if it was just with him. Death made sure they were loved, even if it was by an entity not of the mortal world. These followers swore themselves to him when they were mortal through dark rituals not seen in the clans in many a year. When they passed on, they continued to remain loyal, because Mortain could just be the only family that they have, and while he can be cruel and malicious, often lashing out when they don't please him, he's also very gentle and caring toward them. The caveat that makes them stay, for Death was the only one that loved them during their mortal life and is the only one that continues to love them in death. What we're looking for are three followers of Mortain who snuck into the ranks of Starclan. These three cats pretend to be former warriors of Springclan when in truth they spread chaos to those of weak wills. We ask that you create a backstory for your character based on the lore written above! Again, more will be revealed to you if you're chosen by both Shadow and myself! Everyone, even if you're not in Springclan, is able to tryout!
If you are chosen though, we ask that you're active and are able to reply to the plot thread frequently.

Backstory: A thief and a trickster, he’s always been drawn towards the dark arts. A once desperate kittypet abandoned on the side of the road with his younger brother at his side, no longer able to live his pampered, spoiled life and forced to survive in a world that wasn’t kind to them. Feeling abandoned, unloved, now burdened, but stubborn, he only accepted he needed help after he had caused so much problems with the clan cats, and so he was left no other options. Neither knew how to take care of themselves, but his brother was especially vulnerable as he was young, and so Till turned to Mortain. He had heard tales while observing the nearby clan cats as he waited to steal their prey, something he often did, and while he wasn’t truly convinced of his existence at first, he decided to try the ritual anyway. And perhaps when one deals with death, they should expect the consequences of such, for not long later his brother came down with an illness that took him quickly. He would have been left with nobody, but he had already made the deal with Mortain, and so he became even more devout than before, found his place among his twisted family as an avid follower. For a while, he picked more fights than necessary, caused problems with the clan cats, and once he took it too far with a particularly angry warrior, tried to run before he could get his claws on him but wasn’t careful. As he tried to jump from one branch to another in his escape, his collar — something he couldn’t get off no matter how hard he tied — caught on a short branch, suffocating him. He spent his afterlife still loyal to Mortain, still harbouring a constant bitterness towards Springclan and a need to disrupt their lives like he used too.
