Hmm....he kept that note in mind, looking rather pensive for a brief moment before returning to Strayspirit with a smile. "Thanks for that, I'll be sure to check it sometime. Meanwhile, I'd love to see where you live now. You did promise me a little tour, didn't you?" He wasn't exactly trying to be manipulative, but it was easy to twist it as if they were the ones who had offered rather than him coming in here and finding his way through.

Subaru's eyes narrowed and he silently wondered if they should even be leading Edom to this cat. A prickly feeling went down his spine and he turned to Strayspirit. "Well, I don't have a forest name and I'm here." He responded with a chuckle before giving a shrug. "But there really aren't many of us that keep our old names, so she's probably right." At least if he decided to be gutsy enough to travel to Primal Instinct alone then he will run into more threatening characters. If he was sincere enough about her being important then surely he would be able to convince one of them. Maybe...
At his insisting a tour, the lanky tom felt the unease return. This cat seemed like the last one they could trust with a tour of their territory, but he kept his mouth shut and decided to trust Strayspirit's judgement. She did have more experience dealing with Edom than he did.

Strayspirit gave a light little laugh and shook her head, sharing a look with Subaru before she looked back to Edom. "We can't just give you a tour of camp I'm sorry to say." She shook her head and chuckled once more before letting it trail off. "Since you're not actually interested in joining the clan we couldn't possibly bring you to our camp. We can tour the borders and such because nothing out here is exactly a secret."
Giving him an apologetic look she dipped her head in a more demonstrative apology. "I hope you can understand."

He frowned at her words, before shrugging nonchalantly. "Well, I guess I can't overstay my welcome," he replied, a little more curt this time as if it was them who had offended him rather than the other way around, "I suppose you can at least point me to somewhere else I might find answers? Or cats who won't mind me coming or going?"
Edom would take his exit and continue his search either way.
