Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
This litter was entirely different from her first. Foxfable had been an only child- sweet, subdued, sickly Foxkit. Even if she'd been recovering in Nightclan, away from home, it was a far more peaceful existence than the one Rosethorn was living now.
These four were... indomitable. They bounced off the walls with sheer energy, competing with each other, scrambling around on spaghetti legs for weeks before Rosethorn was overcome. "Go! Out!" She said with a frazzled sigh, shoving the four of them out into the snow a week before she'd planned on taking them out of the nursery.
Wolfkit paused for a moment, examining the grungy leftover snow he'd seen from the nursery entrance. "SICK!" He yelled, turning and bowling Bearkit over. "This stuff is so cool. Let's see who can slide the farthest on the ice patches. Hey, are there any other kits out here?" He paused for a moment, lifting his head to look, before he was distracted by Bearkit's foot in his face.

"You guys are loud," Midnightkit complained, looking rather grouchy to be awake at this moment. Sunrisekit was the fun, playful, loveable one. Midnightkit? She was definitely a lot less enthusiastic. She gave the outside a look over, shivering for a moment. "It's cold," she pouted, looking rather grossed out by the muddy snow dappled all around the camp, "and wet...why do you even want to be outside?"
"BECAUSE," boomed a raucous cry behind Midnightkit, the ever-so-energetic Fawnkit just as boisterous as her brother and several notches louder, as if by yelling she could compensate for their height difference. She was much smaller and more nimble than any of her littermates, but she rivaled them each in intensity. "Everything is so NEW AND EXCITING! Come on Minnie, quit being a sourpuss for once!"
Needling a good-natured but rough shoulder into her cousin's side, Fawnkit flung herself onto the solid mass of black fur that was indistinguishable between which was Wolfkit and which was Bearkit.
Wolfkit had finally pinned Bearkit down when Fawnkit sprang on him. He grinned wide and threw her aside with relative ease. "You're tiny, Fawn," he grumbled, cuffing her over the ears. "Stop trying to roll with the big dogs."
Midnightkit's complaint drew him off his brother and back into the crunchy snow. "Sorry, let me just mope around the nursery and spend all day sulking instead of enjoying myself." The fluffy black kit rolled his eyes, grinning wider, before bounding off again. "Bet you guys can't catch me!"

She scowled. "I'm not moping, I just don't want to get my fur dirty," she huffed, glancing around. She hated interacting with the other kits sometimes; she always felt so out of place, moreso when her sister wasn't around. "If I get my fur dirty, momma's just going to give me another–" she shivered with a groan, "bath..."
