Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. WHEN THIS PARTICULAR CAT CALLED YOU, you had no option but to accept her invitation. If you didn't, you would end up on the ever growing list of enemies of the throne, and, in the Monarchy, this was often a fatal step. Once you angered her once, a target was placed on your back. It was safe to say that you didn't want that. It was better to just come when she called.
The Tsar shifted her weight slightly. Her summoning of this particular cat was arbitrary at best. She could have selected anyone. After all, it was company that she wanted more than anything as she traveled to the northern border.
It was a bit of a shock, he had to admit. To be summoned by Kerrigan was an honor. Yet Ravenclaw found it more interesting than anything. The black furred tom made his way towards the area he was supposed to meet the tsar. Upon spotting the feline he flashed her a cheeky smile. A glimmer in his eyes seemed almost michivious “Greetings.” His voice rumbled out, soft yet rather deep in sound. .
The orange-flame she-cat turned her head in his direction, chin tipping slightly at an angle. The flower crown on her face was slowly dying, but it shifted just as effortlessly as the rest of her body. It was as if the crown had melded to her body. Her hazel eyes blinked twice, considering this creature. Her lips twitched slightly, an almost untraceable flick.
"Ravenclaw," she greeted. "I appreciate that you were willing to meet me here." The words almost amused her; it wasn't like he had a choice. "I am planning on taking a trip to our northernmost border and beyond to see if we couldn't add some territory from the rogue lands, and was wondering if you'd be willing to accompany me?"
Hm. He was not naive to think this was some coincidence. Why has she called upon him? Ravenclaw felt weary of this, but pushed away the feeling and brought out his usual self. “Very well.” It was a simple agreement that he should go with her. Kerrigan was quite a character, that much he knew. It was rather curious though, as to why she chose him of all the cats in the clan. She surely, was closer to others and trusted others more than himself to patrol with. He kept his thoughts to himself, unwilling to anger the feline.
"I appreciate it," she meowed, her tone easy and light. This was probably something that would come as surprising to the tom; it was seldom that the Tsar could be seen as a normal cat. She was in the process of what one may call faking it until she made it. After all, deep within her psychology, Tsar Kerrigan was deeply troubled, moreso than she had perhaps ever been. Even just getting out of her nest had been hard since Glowstar left. She couldn't let any of her comrades know that, though.
She then stood, her flame colored pelt shifting across her body. "I do not assume that we will come into any conflict. I've set scouts this way a few times thus, and it seems that the area is pretty clear. We should just be able to go and declare its ours." Her eyes glinted; this was precisely how she liked to do things.
Ravenclaw gave another nod. He still decided to say nothing, at least for now. He would speak whenever the opportunity arose for him to. Being this close to Kerrigan was almost exciting. Not many were graced with this chance, and he still wondered why exactly he was. Whatever. Not going to question it. As she spoke of scouts he gave a small shrug. He could fight just as any warrior, even if there was conflict.
With that, the orange cat rose. Her footsteps were slightly more shakey than she would have liked, but perhaps that was simply because she was still in a precarious spot in her head. Despite the fact that she was so convinced she would keep her problems with herself, it seemed that at least some of them were going to manifest physically. She let out a sharp sigh, before beginning her walk towards the border. "Let us begin, then, shall we? It would be impertinent to waste time."
