Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The wind was slightly blowing in the cavern as Blackkit exited the nursery. It lightly ruffled his fur, as he fluffed it out to block out the chill. The black kitten was curious to learn about the warrior Code and thought the best place to find out about it would be the Elder's den.
Blackkit watched as warriors and apprentices went about their business, for a few minutes pondering what he should do. After a minute or two, he made his way to the fresh-kill pile, and snagged a mouse and a bird from the pile. He of course had his breakfast, but wanted to give the Elders something to eat and to ask them to tell him about the origins of the Warrior code as they ate.
Blackkit turned to head to the Elder's den, when a warrior stopped him. He placed the prey down between his paws and waited for them to speak.
“Where are you going with that, little one?” When Blackkit turned, it was Twilightdance’s face that greeted him, pretty and polite as it was. Her coat was a black as a raven, and it would be difficult to spot her in the shadows of the cavern if not for her two amber eyes, which gazed kindly down at the kitten.
She figured he was headed to the elder’s den, based on his direction, but it was hard not to dote on a kitten who thought of feeding the elders while his denmates played. She’d considered leaving him alone to fulfill his mission – but he was so adorable! She just had to tease him.
