Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Rateye didn't walk down by the Southern Sea very often, and he wasn't quite sure why. It was certainly peaceful out here, especially when all of the twolegs were gone. He supposed that it was the waves that unnerved him slightly, with how they seemed to stretch on forever past the horizon. Wait. Nope. Yikes. Now he was getting existential. Big nope right there. The tom shook his head as if chasing the thoughts away. Despite already being outside, he couldn't shake the feeling that he needed to get out more. It was probably due to the fewer responsibilities he had now. Maybe he needed a job...or anything, really. In defeat, he flopped over on the sand, letting out a dramatic groan that would make his wife proud. "Ughhhhh. It's so BORING. There's nothin' to DO." He screamed at the waves, as if just generally speaking out loud would summon one of his clanmates or an interesting, unexpected event. Or both. Both was good.

The cold breeze coming off the southern sea ruffled Ravenmask's dark fur but the cold didn't seem to bother the former Red Guard member. How long he'd been standing there near the water's edge, he didn't know. He had come down here to view the area and to get some ideas about his new position as a Coast Guard member. But mostly he thought about the recent events his clan had with NightClan trying to take them over. Much of the battle for liberation had taken place right here on the sandy shore. The thought of what NightClan had done caused the fur around his neck bristle.
While he was lost in his thoughts, he heard a cat's meow farther down the shore. Startled he jumped and spun in the direction the sound had come from but saw nothing amiss. Narrowing his eyes, he slunk quietly toward a clump of sea grass that was growing in the sand. It was blocking his vision from whoever had made the sound. Peeking though it, he was relieved because he saw just a lone cat and not a whole patrol. He then broke from his cover and approached boldly. It could be a clan member in trouble or maybe a rogue he'd have to chase off. "You there!" he called with authority when he was within talking distance. But just then he saw it was his former leader. "Ratst...eye! Are you alright?" He ran the remaining distance to the tom lying in the sand, worry spiking in his pelt.
