Lacelilly had been taken captive when the High Priestess and the rest of the janus tried to return to camp. They were ambushed, and the young apprentice aged cat hadn't stood a chance against such a force. Littlestar had been captured, separated from the rest of them. Lacelily had been taken back to the old camp SunClan had discovered near the volcano. It was unusually hot within, but not unbearable. Even the stone Lacelily rested upon was warm to the touch. All that young cats had been brought here for reeducation "Oh your away" came the voice of the black tom standing abover her, he gave her a toothy smile as he gently dabbed some cool moss onto her forehead "I was starting to get worried about you" uniqcrim

It was a strange sight to wake up to, a stranger hovering over her and dabbing her forehead. It throbbed something terrible and she blinked slowly a few times. "Where am I?" She asked groggily, trying to sit up. It took her a few tries and the world spun as she did so but once she was up, reality came crashing down on her. Her breath quickened, realizing she was at the camp near the volcano.
"Who are you? Where is Littlestar?" The questions came vaulting out of her mouth and she backed up on the uncomfortably warm stone, anger blazing in her hazel eyes. Where were her parents? Her siblings? The Janus? Surely this was all a bad dream and she would wake up to someone barking orders at her. Surely. This couldn't be happening. Sunclan was one of the strongest clans whose god lived amongst them. Where was he now when they needed him most?

"Hey, hey, you have been through a lot. Your questions will get answered, but first let me take care of that wound on your head. You took a pretty hard blow. You are safe for now, and we can't really have a chat with you all freaked out" he winked, but didn't try and close the distance between them. Instead he remained where he was sitting the wet moss still under his paws.
If she looked around she would see that they were in a smaller sub den. There was a nest on one side with some carved stone tablets. Symbols were painted on the wall, ones in which Lacelilly as a Janus would be familiar with. The circle that marked this as a Janus den. A sun.

She took a hesitant step forward. He made a convincing case but Lacelily wasn't so sure. They were in the Janus den of the old camp and it left a bitter taste in her mouth. He was a stranger, and outsider, and he should not be here. "Who are you?" She asked, sitting in front of him and allowing him to tend to her wound. Of course she would be more than capable of tending to her own but at least this time could be used to pry for valuable information. He was bigger and probably stronger than her, escaping wasn't possible.
Anger still burned in her eyes as she looked at him but there was also a degree of apprehension. Lacelily could just barely remember the events that transpired before she woke up, enough to know that she probably wasn't safe here with him. For now, she would play into things.

The black cat waited for her to relax, before continuing to treat the wound "The name is Spider little lady" he replied politely before putting down the blood soaked moss "What do they call you?" he had heard that these cats had strange names, but that they would be changing them

"My name is Lacelily," She said proudly. It was given to her by her parents as a kit and Littlestar when she was promoted to Janus. She had always been proud of her name. Spider was an interesting name and she noted that it was not a warriors name, so he was likely not a part of another clan. He did not smell like the regime or the league either. Hmm... "Ow, be careful not to get any of that moss in my wound or it'll get infected. Did you use clean water?" She asked. Nitpicking was easier, it made her feel like she had more control over the situation.

"Of course, couldn't have you getting sick. The High Priest said you were to important" he replied honestly "You will be treated well, so don't worry about that. No one hear is going to hurt you. We have some of your clan-mates here as well. You will get to see them soon, but the older cats wanted to talk to you first" he rose to his paws, putting the moss out of the way and laying down in the nest patting it in invitation for her to join him "I'm just here to make sure that you are taken care of until then. Are you hungry? Thirsty?"

Clearly he wanted her to trust him. She wasn't about to give in so easily and she remained seated where she was. She did believe that there were other cats here and she hoped they were okay. What did he think she was going to lay in a nest with a tom she barely knew? Absurd! "No offense but I don't know you or anything about you." It was strange the way he was so gentle and acting as if he was going to take care of her wellbeing. "I just... I just want to know if my family is okay," She said in a small voice. "Surely you have family you worry about too."

"Of course you are worried about them, Lace" he replied sympathetically "I promise you will get to see some of them soon enough, at least the young ones. You are related to the SunClan leader, right? I know some of her kids are here. They are with Nettle and the others getting all settled in. Don't worry so much, you are all going to be ok. You are going to be training with us! It will be a lot of fun. Nettle is a good teach, just a little strict"

She narrowed her eyes at him. He was so laid back and talked to her comfortably like they'd known each other forever. She had nothing to go by except his word. She had no choice but to trust him, at least for now. She also wondered why it was important that she was Littlestar's granddaughter or how they knew that to begin with. It was strange. Were these the cats who had been tormenting her clan for so long now? With the traps and the prisoner? There was certainly more to the story. "My name is Lacelily. Only kits have just a prefix, I am not a kit." Lacelily said stubbornly. Sure, she had her full name since she was kit aged but even still she had been earning the right to her name all this time. "Who are you then if you aren't going to be teaching me? I have too many questions my head is spinning." She groaned.
