Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Hello everyone! Unfortunately, baewolf stepped down yesterday, meaning we are in need of a new deputy now. She did an absolutely wonderful job, and it's sad to see her go. If you can, send her some love ♥
FallClan does have some loose activity requirements for its staff. It is recommended that a deputy tries to get 5 posts a week, but it's not supposed to be stressful, so if that requirement can't be met, there is no punishment until it becomes a continuous thing without communication. Having a Discord is also recommended, though not required. If you don't have a Discord, we can work something else out, so don't worry about it affecting your chances!
Currently there is no set end date, but these will end in a few weeks!

IVORYATRAMENT A small, medium furred, white, she-cat with pale gold-amber eyes. Sweet as can be Ivoryatrament is often taken advantage of for how kind she can be, and often lets more things slide than she should. Her seemingly endless patience though however does have a limit. Though she doesn't like to fight and often avoids confrontation at all costs she has a tongue sharper than her claws. She chooses to fight all her battles with passive aggression and does so with a smirk or a knowing smile. A natural inclination to pettiness and all around spite Ivory usually has to restrain herself from reacting in the moment and instead, taking the time to think of a more logical response. Stubborn, or foolish? Maybe it's a bit of both. Ivoryatrament doesn't like to ask for help if she can get the job done herself, and will jump through some pretty high hoops just to make that happen. She would do anything and everything to help others given at the expense of herself. The kind of cat that tells you something was "No problem at all." When in fact it was very much a problem. Despite her take charge attitude and borderline control freak tendencies she doesn't like to do things for others that they could easily do for themselves. Easily annoyed, she has become a master of hiding her annoyance unless pushed too far. When she loves someone you know it, and will generally go out of her way to nice things for those she's close to. However, she struggles when it comes to outwardly showing affection.
She would never admit it, but secretly would probably skeeved out by him, not just because of his looks but his overall capabilities. Still she'd want to stay on his good side, better to have him as an ally than an enemy given his ideologies. Part of her would admire his over all "Do it yourself" attitude and agree with his beliefs that others will use you to get ahead without a second thought. Despite the fact that she loves helping others she wouldn't bother trying to get him to see the good in others, knowing that is a losing battles. There however is a little gray area in their personalities that could lead to minor conflict and disagreements between the two of them. They won't always see eye to eye and eventually when she's more comfortable in her position she won't be afraid to argue her stance against him.
- Weaselpaw ;
Ivory would be very patient with Weaselpaw at first, as she started to get to know him however, her patience him him might start to stretch thin. His pessimistic demeanor would wear on her nerves after awhile and she'd eventually try to snap him out of it by being overly kind and annoyingly sweet to him. If that didn't at least change his attitude around her she would try to spend less time around him, keeping the peace for the sake of professionalism. She'd never purposely be outright disrespectful to him, given all he does for the clan. I can see these two if not being very close at least harboring a mutual respect for the other.
- Spiralpaw ;
Spiralpaw would probably get under her skin the most with her sneaky behavior. She wouldn't openly call her out on it but, she would definitely keep a close eye on the young she-cat. Honestly she would probably come up with subtle petty punishments to discipline Spiralpaw but would do so in ways that most wouldn't consider it a punishment. Ivoryatrament wouldn't fall for her charm more than once but, would probably let her get away with things for the most part unless it became a problem, or something she could no longer ignore.
What is something that you would like to do with your character? ;
I would like to see Ivoryatrament get herself into a bind, either trouble or some sort of situation she couldn't get herself out of and be put in a position where she has to seek help from others, or have her go through some sort of trial by fire where she has to prove herself worthy of being the next deputy to the clan. I don't want her to just be given the position I want her to have to earn it.

Hystericstar takes a much needed vacation, while he's away a group of rogues decide to move into FallClan territory. They refuse to leave and start making a mess of things, not only hunting on FallClan territory but the neighboring clans as well making it look like FallClan has been stealing prey. Not wanting to look incompetent in her new role Ivoryatrament has to figure out how to smooth things other with the other Mountain Clans and kick the rogues out before Hystericstar gets back.

I have some ideas for them. Right now, she very much does not like him. She is jealous of him for stealing the cat she loved and didn’t love her back since apprentice-hood. But, she has a strong love for her clan which has been evident for the beginning. He will probably find her a breath of fresh air at times because of her nature to take over when others seem overwhelmed. For example: when the kits come knocking, Chai would take them out on a day trip and make use of their energy in doing apprentice duties for a day. Or if Hysteric has to deal with cats he doesn’t necessarily like to be around (let’s be honest, that’s most everyone) then she will step in without hesitation. On the other paw, he will probably be slightly perplexed and a little annoyed with her daydreaming, especially her daydreaming out Jayjack. I could foresee them really coming to terms with each other and finding some kindling of a friendship they didn’t expect or want. Kind of like one of those, “If you die that will suck for me because I’ll be sad, but I’m never going to tell you that” kind of relationships.
- Weaselpaw ; She will probably dote on him in secret. I have a feeling that she would find him adorable in his own way and find ways to make is life a little easier, even if that means distracting Spiralpaw for a bit from the herb storage. As they got older, I could see them becoming close friends through a mutual respect for one another. I think Chaicrisp would look for those softer angles of his and find a way to help bring them to the light.
- Spiralpaw ; If Spiral sticks around if I get this position then I can see Chai being extremely patient with her but always keeping an eye on her just in case. She reminds her a lot of Pumpkin so she will naturally worry a lot about her, but will be more firm than she was with her sister now that she’s learned. Then again, Spiral is a bit more independent than Pumpkin so at least she wouldn’t have to constantly watch over her to make sure she doesn’t eat the wrong thing.
What is something that you would like to do with your character? ; Okay, hear me out. I want her to be come aesthetic as heck. She is going to be "that" cat. You know the one. The one that gets up early to do meditation and hydrates, then goes to her workout (or self-training lol), goes on a morning run, self-cares herself, and spends the rest of her day girl bossing. But on a serious note, I do want her to have a major maturity phase moving into this role. I would love to see her use her unrequited love with Jayjack as fuel to become all that she wants to be to where eventually she won't feel that ache anymore. I want her to become the kind of cat everyone wants to be with, but not because she is dangerous and mysterious, just because she is warm like the sun and fair c': Chaicrisp is a character that I want to be one of the examples of a well-rounded-plotted-fleshed-out good cat. Obviously, she'll have flaws because perfect is boring lol, but I want her to be good. Think of Eowyn from LoTR, Luna Lovegood from HP, or Yona from Yona of the Dawn (figured you would appreciate that lav). Anyways, that's what I want to do with her as a character but that is subject to change depending on future plots and stuff.
Now things I would like to do with her. I would like her to become the diplomatic side of Hysteric. As his deputy, she would start taking over relationships with other clans that he maybe isn't as comfortable with or hosting the kit swaps and such. I also thought it would be cool if she maybe did some special training with the aurulents and got to know them better (because she would never turn down a day with jayjack)
I also want her to start a Siblings of Immediate Munchers advocacy program (or Sims for short) for those whose siblings have no thought before they eat.
CHOOSE AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TO ANSWER Why do you want this position? ; Well, I will go out and say that I have wanted a deputy position for a while but my activity hasn't been fantastic. I've just started getting into the swing of things the past few months and feel comfortable taking over a position again (although my track record over the holidays wasn't great). My busiest times of the year usually fall around October-January because Cam and I's coffee shop but I think I did well with activity in October/November despite that and the rest of the months should be fine. All of that aside, I love Fallclan, and I want to say I think that is obvious. This clan has been my constant for so many years now. I have been involved with it for so long and have truly loved rping here. I have made most of my closest Classic friends through this clan and love the characters I've developed here. I specifically chose Chaicrisp because she is my most-used Fallclan character c': This is my comfy spot and the clan I know I can always start random rps in and will never feel judged for how out of touch my character might be haha.
A mini-plot idea that you could run on your own? ; Okay, so we know how I am with mini-plots. I have so many extremes here. The camping trips flopped unfortunately but I still have hopes for those. I also always have Riverwolf on the backburner in case he needs to take over another clan. Honestly, I feel fine running any kind of war plots with various animals or other clans haha. I also just realized this question is asking for one oops.
Okay so I've had this idea running in the back of my mind: the perfect medicine It starts with a sad story of an apprentice falling gravely ill. One day a lot of apprentices (or kits if that makes more sense) up and disappear. Turns out that they heard talk at a gathering from some elders about juice from a berry that could cure anything found in the berries just across from the vineyard outside of Fallclan (if that is still there, if not anywhere else is fine). Some of the apprentices (could be headed off by Spiralpaw) decide they want to try to find this special cure to save their friend. Along the way, maybe they get captured by two-legs or just get lost, or get poisoned by the berries. A patrol of warriors is sent to find them and they have to plan a rescue mission c: They return without the special berries, but all is well because a neighboring medicine cat had the right cure or something (or Hysteric experimented and the apprentice died LOL).
WHITEWOLF “It’s better to die than to live in the knowledge that you’ve done something that needs forgiveness.” At first glance and impression many think this burly long-furred white tom might be mute, but really he’s just a cat of few words. Choosing to act more with action than words, Whitewolf is a well trained machine in fighting, hunting, and anything requiring physicality. There’s a coldness evident in his golden eyes, but no one has dug deep enough to know where it comes from. Given up by his mother at a very young age, he was adopted and raised by a tom who took him under his wing and treated him as his own. While Whitewolf was always grateful for that, he couldn't quite get over the resentment in his heart for his mother after she abandoned him. It may appear that he doesn't feel things, but it is quite the opposite. He hides it well, but it's doubtful that there is anyone who is as loyal to his clan and those that are dear to him. When he loves he will do anything and everything for the one that holds his heart, despite appearing cold on the surface. Whitewolf is a protector, and this has earned him respect from the cats around him, and most if not all would trust him with their life.
How will your character work with... - Hystericstar ; Whitewolf would work well with his leader, seeing as he is very easily adaptable to those around him. He respects his elders, and while some of Hystericstar's ideologies differ greatly from his own, Whitewolf would remain in his favor in order to help keep things in order. They might butt heads occasionally, but they would more than likely remain civil and deal with their differences like mature cats do.
- Weaselpaw ; Whitewolf would never admit it, but the young medicine cat reminds him quite a bit of his younger self. Because of this, he would probably try to pull him under his wing, even just a little. They would get along well, and Whitewolf would try his best to guide the young tom down the right path with some of their personality differences.
- Spiralpaw ; their interactions would probably be some of the most interesting. Whitewolf would watch her like a hawk, never fully feeling content when Spiralpaw is buzzing around. He senses how sneaky she is, and that some of her interests might diverge from her duty, so he might even try to guide her as well, even if she would get on his nerves quite often.
What is something that you would like to do with your character? ; Build a lasting family and legacy in fallclan. He's such an interesting and complex character that I can't wait to fully flesh out and build more as he grows and meets others. I have a tendency to write a bio and a character and over time they change and adapt in the most interesting ways, so I'm interested to see where he will be down the road.

The clan has always been my number one, and I thrive when being able to help such a close piece of my heart. I love that the clan has remained traditional over the years and the nostalgia and feeling I get while being here is truly amazing. I can only hope to make others feel the same and enjoy this place just as much as I have over time.
