Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Spiritlake and the rest of her patrol was overlooking a massive patrol of twolegs, walking in what had to be some sort of formation across the territory. They were moving very purposely and it made her sick to her stomach. For one, she'd never seen so many twolegs before, there were literally dozens of them. For two, what in the world where they doing!?
Berrybloom has spotted the two legs when she was out. The she-cat was following them, but making sure she was making a wide, wide path around them so they wouldn’t see her. It was now that she ran into two other cats she hadn’t been expecting. And by run into, it was literal. Berrybloom knocked right into the nearest cat, her eye shaving been trained in the two legs and not paying attention to the area around her
“My bad.” She scrambled back to her paws and only then realizes that she was probably trespassing considering these cats were from another clan. “So….you following the two legs too?”

"I'm not, I'm dead. I just tagged along." It was only about then Berrybloom would likely take a closer look to see that Vulcan was well, somewhat translucent.
First the twolegs, then the literal ghost cat and then Berrybloom. This was a lot for Spiritlake to handle and she cursed being given the lead position on this patrol. She wasn't being paid enough for all of this.
Gently pushing Berrybloom off her, Spiritlake got back to her paws and dusted herself off.
"FallClanner - we have borders, just like you! This isn't a difficult concern! And Ghost guy... are you like... why are you here? Do you have an omen or something? I'm no medicine cat!"
"Um, yes, but showing you where Chimerastar is is literally the last thing on my mind right now," Spiritlake replied to Vulcan with a health dose of sass before turning to Berrybloom, her fur all fluffed out, "Here's the deal. I don't have time to show you to the border, so you're going to be part of my patrol for a minute, OK? We need to lead the twolegs to their dead clanmate down by the ravine. I bet once they find him, they'll leave."
“Cool. I’ve never met a ghost. Can you pass through trees? What about acorns? Do they fall right through your head? Do you feel that?” Berrybloom would have kept asking questions if the other cat hadn’t interrupted. Scrunching up her face, she asked Spiritlake, “since when does SwiftClan have borders?”
"UGH I know, I hate the borders too, but that's Heavystar's doing and as his Warrior I have to do what he says. ANYWAY, let's---- AHHH!"
Spiritlake had her back to the twolegs and was so focused on yelling at her companions that she hadn't realized she'd attracted the attention of some twolegs. At the present on had gripped her at the base of her neck and was picking her up.
Berrybloom sprang into action, this wasn’t her first rodeo getting to close and knew a few good bites and scratches would get them to let go. And let go they did when the tortoiseshell FallClanner bite down hard enough to draw blood. “Run!”
“Listen to the ghost!” Berrybloom was scratching and hissing at the two leg who’d come over. Then her paws took off as she knocked the other cat in a direction to get them going. “Let’s go!”
Spiritlake was actually glad to have Berrybloom's assistance and kicked off the twoleg for good measure as she propelled herself away from it, "Vulcan, get moving, you're confusing it! Both of you, follow me to the ravine, now that we have it's attention we can lead it to what it's looking for!"

Vulcan danced around the confused twoleg for a moment, before beckoning them to follow him and the living cats. He didn't know where he was going, but he followed Spiritlake anyway. "Lead us on!"
Spiritlake lead the cats toward the Ravine where a acrid, horrible smell overwhelmed the senses of the cats. To twolegs this level of rot would be just unpleasant - the weather was cold and hard preserved the twoleg corpse well - but the cats, who had heightened senses, it was nearly unbearable.
"Follow that odor and, when you see the body, hide!" Spiritlake commanded as she veered toward the worst of it.
