Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lunarpoem knew much about her family history. But it only stretched so far back. Once upon a time, they were members of BrookClan, joining when Eclipse was the head of their family with his grandchildren who were only just at the time. They grew and prospered there for many moons until the Great Flood happened. What was left of the family was split then, and Lunarpoem was born in SpringClan. Her mother was the last of them to be born in, essentially, their home clan. Stepping into the land, under the night sky, the black she-cat had upon what may have at one point been her home.
"Uuuh this is kinda of awkward, but I'm going to have to ask you to leave. We watch our borders now," Spiritlake had happened to be walking by and, as much as she wanted to just ignore Lunarpoem, she had a hard time doing so after Heavystar had made it very clear that intruders had to be chased out. It just... it didn't seem right to her but, then again, SwiftClan had never stayed in on place as long as the current leader intended them to, "This is SwiftClan territory."
“So soon upon another’s fall? Do you descend upon all who merely gaze only a land once flourished?” Lunarpoem tipped her head in curiousity at the cat. She was unaware that SwiftClan had change fit policies or even that they were in the area.
Spiritlake wasn't stupid, but she was straight forward. She had no idea what Lunarpoem was talking about.
"Anyways, you're doing more than gazing, you're literally on our side of the border. So please... umm... get out? It's fine if you wanna sit and stare, just from the other side.
Lunarpoem stepped back, just over the barley there border and smiled. She was fine now, no? “From here, a gaze travels, a mere step from another.” It was fine, she’d just come to look upon where she would have grown up and was imagining the place with the few stories she recalled form her childhood.
Spiritlake hadn't exactly expected Lunarpoem to (1) be so obedient and (2) actually stay there sitting. Could she just walk away from the border with a so-called enemy sitting right there? It felt wrong, so she didn't. But if she didn't just walk away... then what would she do?
"So.......... You don't have to share, but care to explain what you're trying to do?"
“A past long forgotten, memories in stories, a history forge upon these lands.” Her great grandfather was buried here and so was her grandfather and others. Lunarpoem smiled as she remembered them all and their stories. For that’s all she had, was stories told to her by her mother before she passed.
A nod, a grin, and the she-cat continued with her traditional method of speaking. Poems were he thing, especially in speech. “Flowing rivers descend mountains and valleys. Spreading from land to land and sky to sky. The blue flows and many follow.” She spoke of how they may have start as loners before joining BrookClan but they had moved on from there. Like a river flowing down stream to somewhere else.
Not following exactly, Spiritlake decided to accept the nod as a yes and proceeded with the conversation as if it wasn't totally bonkers, "My father is from EarthClan, actually. So this is kind of my homeland as well. Which Clan does your bloodlines come from?"
“Just EarthClan taht I know of. Mom doesn’t talk about it’s bd if mom won’t, then dad follows he lead. It so annoying.” They we’re born in FallClan and, aside from Amberbird, Oddkit, and Berrybloom, they hadn’t really left. The ones who left died. Oddkit had died and no one had heard about it form Amberbird since he’d left so everyone thought of him as dead as well.
