Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The nursery was quiet in the early morning when Midnightkit woke. The young one's electric blue eyes shone with immediate mischief, as she turned to her twin sister, a small smile growing on her face. She wiggled her butt in excitement as she moved into place, imitating a hunter's crouch that one of the apprentices had shown them a week ago, stifling a giggle as she launched herself at Sunrisekit with a laugh.
"Goooood morning!" she greeted brightly, before turning to her other sister with a smile. Mama had always told her to be more careful with Twilightkit; perhaps that was why she often picked on her twin instead. "We should do something today...something...you know....exciting!" she announced to the kits, though she had no idea what to do at all. Sunrisekit usually had the better ideas anyway. The moment she realized other's attention was actually on her...she immediately flushed pink, feeling suddenly shy.
Twilightkit emerged from the fogginess of sleep, hearing the stirrings of her sister beside her. The world remained as empty as always, visually, but the blind kit wasn't bothered- it was all she knew. It did make waking up a little harder sometimes, but there was too much excitement to ignore.
The long-furred tortoiseshell shook out her coat, scrambling to her feet. Her eyes, permanently dilated, flicked in multiple directions as her head turned to where Midnightkit's voice was coming from. "What do you want to do?" Twilightkit asked her sister with a growing smile, shuffling her feet together. "I can sniff out some worms for us like I did yesterday!"

Cometkit stretched and yawned. The chattering of his denmates woke him from a good dream. He had caught a mouse as big as him and he was dragging it into the camp. All the warriors were amazed and were praising him for his wonderful prowess. He sighed. If only that dream was true!
He looked around the nursery and saw the others up and about. "Worms?" he asked. "Let's find something that flies. They're more exciting than worms."
The noise that she made when her sister pounced on her was ungodly, truly ungodly. Somewhere between a guffaw, a dying elephant, and a bullfrog, the kitten didn't look too thrilled with being woken up like that. But, once she glanced around and saw that there were others there, not just her twin, she let herself straighten and knock her sister off with a smile.
"Good morning," she meowed with a purr, glancing between her littermates and the other kitten. "I agree with Cometkit, flying would be better. I hear there's a big nest of birds just outside the camp, if anyone's interested?" she meowed with a wink.

Midnightkit immediately grinned. "Birds?" she echoed, looking to her sister brightly, "yeah let's go catch some birds! Do you think we could? I've seen the warriors do it before."

"If they can do it, we can too!" Cometkit mewed enthusiastically. Then he realized what Sunrisekit had said - the birds were outside the camp. "But we aren't allowed to leave the camp," he continued, his eagerness waning. He sat down with a thump, a frown plastered on his face. "What can we do? Birds never fly down inside the camp."

Midnightkit frowned, feeling just a little discouraged from that. "Do you think..." Well, they could always sneak out...but surely, they'd all get in trouble for that, and Midnightkit wasn't exactly one to bravely charge into battle. Not to mention, she had heard about foxes and wild creatures out there; would there be any danger?
"Are you thinking of leaving camp?" she asked her sister, eyes wide, both excited and a little nervous, "but won't we get in trouble?"
"Not if we're careful enough," she purred with a wink. It couldn't be that hard to get out of camp, right? And even if they did, all she had to do was bat her big, innocent eyes, and they certainly wouldn't get in trouble for it, right? After all, the little girl couldn't do anything wrong, could she? Her lips twitched. "If we wait long enough, I'm sure we can sneak out behind the dirtpath. It'll be easy peasy, and then we'll see the birds, and be back before anyone notices!"

She frowned, but as she noticed that the others seemed more inclined to Sunrisekit's ideas, she finally nodded reluctantly. "Yeah, I mean we can try...but if we get caught it's not my fault."
