HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHADOW


Dustyartifact - LAVELLAN - A very, very old brown and white tom with brown eyes. No one quite knows exactly how old he is, but no one can remember a time when he wasn’t there. Everyone jokes that he is older than all of the cats in StarClan combined, and he doesn’t show any signs of dying just yet. Is it spite that fuels him? Just pure determination? Perhaps he’s not even that old and just looks like he’s ancient. After all, it was due to a back injury many moons ago that even caused him to retire to the elder’s den in the first place. As far as any medicine cat claims, his back healed long ago, but he still says it pains him. Others use his complaining as a way to predict the weather, as it seems like the louder he is, the more likely it is that the weather will be bad. Likes to tell stories of ‘when I was your age...’ and claims that he used to be the most dashing tom in the entire clan.


Jadetiara - OPEN - Despite her older age, this white she-cat is still quite beautiful. Sure, her pelt, once so spotless and soft, has now turned more coarse and dull, but the elegance with which she moves is second to none. Just being in her presence is enough to forget that she’s an elder - just, never call her that. ‘Elder’ and ‘Old’ are two words that Jadetiara hates more than anything. She’s proper, and noble, and it’s no wonder how she earned her name. Jade, for her beautiful and vibrant green eyes that never seem to lose their hue. Tiara, for her personality. Not everything about this she-cat is as lovely as her appearance, however. She expects everyone around her to act just as proper as she does, and just adores being treated better than everyone else. It’s not out of the ordinary to see her giving a lecture to a younger cat for acting rashly.


Volcanicstorm - SHADOW - A black tom with hazy eyes. Most cats, when they first meet Volcanicstorm, are surprised to learn that he is an elder. He’s actually quite young, and visibly looks uninjured. It’s his foggy, unseeing eyes that they understand: he’s blind. Surprisingly, he has learned to live with his blindness rather well, and he can maneuver around well enough that makes some question whether he really is blind. He is, truly, and could probably still survive as a warrior, but he just enjoys the elder life too much. Not that deep down, he is quite lazy, and has a large temper. His short fuse is the real reason why his name had been changed to Volcanicstorm upon becoming an elder, though many think it’s because of the reddish tint that his fur takes underneath the sun.
