Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Seawatch slumped against the stones edging the hot springs, his breath jagged and unsteady. His head felt dull. Distant. Like he was on the verge of sleep, his eyelids fluttering as he fought to stay awake; every time he blinked he dipped forward and he had to fight to keep his eyes open and his mind focused. Slowly he slid forward from the rock and into the spring, clenching his teeth and hissing as the hot water lapped against his chest. The dark waters swirled with scarlet as he eased in; the water against the open wound in his chest stung, but the heat was soothing if he could bear it.
It was late at night, nearly morning really. Seawatch didn't have the strength to drag himself back to the camp, but without treatment, he had his doubts about how much longer he could go on.

A set of firm teeth sank into the tom's scruff, pulling him from the water "I swear, that brat leaves me all the work"
The hairless tom loomed over the injured cat, taking in the sight and identifying where the wounds were. He leaned down and spoke directly into Seawatch's ears "Look if you want to live, I need you to stay awake. Got it?" He disappeared for a few moments before reappearing with some cobwebs and began applying pressure to the wound to help stop the bleeding. He had to use all of the meager weight for it to be enough "I'm not going to ask you what happened, that is between you and Aspenstar. However I do need to know what caused the wound"
Seawatch tensed as teeth met his scruff, but finding the grip was simply firm and not an attack, he let the tom drag him back out of the springs. He was still defensive, his ears back, but there was not much he could do to defend himself.
As the hairless tom disappeared, he leaned back against the stones for support. The open wound was largest on his chest and tapered toward his abdomen in a jagged line. He stared down at it, unable to tell if he was still bleeding now that his fur was soaked, but when the medicine cat returned with moss, it came away from his fur damp with blood.
"Rock, in the bear cave," he muttered, with an effort. "Bat startled me... slipped." The little prey had surprised him, and he had fallen from the ledge he was perched on, slitting his chest on one of the small jutting stalagmites below.
