Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The sun was just starting to fall below the horizon, when Turbulentkit awoke. It was early or a NightClan cat, for most didn't rise until darkness had engulfed their lands. He squinted his eyes and the soft light flowing into the den, blinking the sleepiness from his gaze. Beside him his siblings were still snoring, as he slipped away from their warm embrace.
He walked out the the nursery, the cool air forcing his extremelly short fur to stand on end although it did little to warm his body. A shiver made it's way down his spine, the muscles along his side trembling. The camp was eerily quite.

Brightkit was awoken from her sleep to see Turbulentkit walk out of the nursery. Isn't it cold outside? She fluffed up her fur and decided to see what he was up to. She padded out of the nursery and sat close to him, hoping he'd warm her up while she did the same for him.
"You're up early." She mewed sleepily as she blinked the sleep from her eyes.
His large ears, flicked backwards toward where Brightkit had emerged from the nursery as well. He hadn't expected any of the other kits to be awake yet, for most slept in until the moon was high in the sky. "Yes, I couldn't sleep... bad dream" he slowly admitted.
Since hearing about the actions of SunClan, he couldn't get it out of his mind. Although he had never seen a SunClan cat for himself, they haunted his dreams. Cats with their coats hidden underneathe layers of paint, symbols emblazened upon their bodies. What really bothered him though, was what they had done to SpringClan and DayClan. It was wrong. Why would you take over another clan and try to turn them from StarClan? How could a leader literally get away with murder?

Brightkit nodded. "Yeah, I get those all the time." She replied thoughtfully. "A whole bunch of random cats will come up to me and just ask how I'm doing. You'd think dreams would be more exciting, like flying, but I guess it makes sense now." She looked back at Turbulentkit to see him still in a dazed sort of state. She nudged him. "So what do you think of this whole StarClan choosing us to be medicine cats? I'm a bit scared to be honest."
(I decided it would even better to have dialogue about the two of them finding out they're going to be MCs. It'll allow them to get more in depth about this relationship the two of them are about to have anyway. What do you think?)
"Honestly, I'm not sure what to think" he replied while shuffling his paws. That much was true. He had always though that he was going to be warrior, but he wasn't against the idea either. He just wanted to help others, to be hero. Perhaps becoming a medicine cat would give him the tools he needed to do just that.
"It's a lot to take in. I never really considered becoming a medicine cat, but I am going to put my faith in StarClan. Surely they would not lead us down the wrong path" he paused, looking at the last rays of the sun began to fade "It's a big task that lies before us, but it's also a chance to help a lot of other cats"

Brightkit looked at Turbulentkit in awe. "You're so wise... I can see why StarClan chose you... Me on the other hand, I'm not too sure." She gazed at the purple and pink sky. "Now I feel like everyone is counting on me. To read the signs, take care of them, bring new life into this world, but they're going to doubt us for being so young!" She wailed. "Maybe this is a mistake..."
"StarClan doesn't make mistakes" was his firm reply. "I don't know why we were chosen, but this is the path they have decided we should take" he paused looking down at his thin, almost hairless paws. The paws that had caused him much grief over his few moons in life. The taunts of his den-mates calling him a kittypet still rung clearly in his ears.
"Others may doubt us, but it is up to us and StarClan to prove that they made the right choice. We have a real oppertunity here, a chance to make a difference. The only thing we can do is work hard to become the medicine cats that we were meant to be"

Brighkit shone with determination! "Yeah! We're going to be the best medicine cats the Clans have ever seen!" She pawed at the air. "I've heard Mistyveil is not just one cat, but two cats smushed together. I wonder if they were related to each other..."
