Yup. He really was stuck. HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO HIM? The tom gave a huge sigh trying to figure out just he was going to get out of this one. Darknesspaw had only been chasing some prey when next thing he new he went flying into a log that was angled upright. He almost caught that dang rabbit too when he noticed that he wasn't moving. His hips where stuck in place...not his butt but hips! That was totally the case. At this point it really didn't matter as long as he could find a way out of this on his own. He did not want anyone to find him, the great Darknesspaw, in this situation. Rumors would spread and that was the last thing he wanted. But woe what was he to do about his predicament?
That would be such a nice goal. Key word: would. Other apprentice's just like him had also received a number of assignments for the day, and Winterpaw was never one to skimp out on her goals. Since her mother's disappearance, she had to be sure that her clanmates knew that she was loyal. Hence, she strived to outwork the other apprentices, so seeing one of her peers stuck rear end up in a tree trunk was beyond gratifying. "Hey there, it looks like the moon is out tonight!"

(Glad to hear that!)
Oh no. It had to be Winterpaw. Greeaaat. "Har har yes my, uh, hips seem to be stuck in this log. I can get out though not to worry. After all I am the great Darknesspaw. So don't fret! The event he best apprentices such as myself get into these predicament's from time to time." For all of his smooth words the tom did not in fact believe what he said. Trying not to feel embarrassed the tom gave himself a nice ego boost which wasn't exactly working as he hoped it would. Today was just not his day.
"Hmmm, yeah. You must be so strong and brave to be in such a mess. Oh, I wish a damsel like me could have seen your bravery firsthand." She giggled and sat down nearby. Or, she could do better in moment she had hopped on top of the log and was pounding all over it. "Oh, I wonder, did you chase a fox down into the log on your own, you must be so brave!"
