Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Yo, yo, yo, how's my sis?" Lucistic asked, approaching his angst lord of a sister, "I was wondering if you could get me a snack, I'd prefer some polarbear meat, I saw one at the two-leg zoo, fascinating creatures, would love to eat one."
"Sure, would you like a side of sanity with that, since you've clearly lost it." Sen mused, tilting her head as she turned to face her twin, not really having spoken to him for a while since joining WinterClan.
"No thanks, I'm on a low sanity diet, has kept me fit all my life," Lucistic teased back lightly, but quickly followed it up with his next question, "But seriously, do you maybe want to go to the zoo with me? Try some new foods?" He asked with a sly smirk.
Sen's whiskers twitched and she shrugged, rising to her paws. "Why not?" She answered. Been too long since they caused chaos of some sort together anyway, but she didn't say that part.
Lucistic skipped off to the zoo and unlike in most cases where he seemed to just appear at the location with no memory of walking he found himself still walking to get there, "wow, I guess we're actually walking and not just at the zoo, like when we normally walk usually we're just there. While we're walking what should we talk about?" He asked.
Maybe Sen was just used to checking out during walking scenes, but apparently that wasn't the case today. "Perhaps the messed up memory is something you should talk to a medicine cat about." She answered, padding beside him as if she didn't notice that walking scenes were abnormal.
"Wait, seriously? You never noticed that whenever we're like, time to walk, your mind just kind of wanders and before you know it you're just there? You're CONSCIOUS while walking?" He asked stunned.
"Depends on the day. It all kind of blurs together." Sen tilted her head slightly as she glanced at him. "Never cared to pay attention. Why do you seem so shocked?"
"BECAUSE IT'S STILL HAPPENING," Lucistic said, staring at his paws as they walk, "I mean... LOOK AT THIS, have you ever witnessed anything like this before?"
"You're always doing this to me! Acting like I'm crazy and wanting to seek professional help. All I ever went through in my life was living with a mad scientist who did insane experiments on me, live a double life, and terrorize the peaceful citizens of DayClan so by comparison I'm not that damaged right?" Lucistic tried to reason.
"You're the one who said you were on a low sanity diet, and if that's lower than the nearly nonexistent base sanity we Eeries started with, well, that speaks for itself." Sen countered. "You're the one who said you were on a diet, after all."
"I NEVER SAI- Okay yeah, I did say that, thanks for reminding me and UGHHHH, when are we getting there? This walk is taking forever! I mean, what are we even doing with our lives and talking about?" Lucistic groaned, dragging a paw across his face in exasperation.
"Mostly you complaining. We could go catch a train, and then you wouldn't have to worry about the walking scene anymore, you know. Sean showed me one once." Sen was pretty sure that was what happened, and that may have also been her last walking scene type memory, but honestly, she could have just imagined it. Probably not though.
"What gotten on a train? I don't know if I coul- OKAY LET'S DO IT" He squealed enthusiastically, "Except... Do you think we'll walk there or in a blink of an eye we'll just bet here?"
"Train station isn't far, so even if we do have a walking scene, it'll probably not take us long to get there." In true movie fashion, a mysterious narrator voice could be heard in the distance. "But they hadn't even made it to the DayClan border yet."
Lucistic walked and walked, time was moving sooooo sloooow. But for his sister it was just normal speed, was this his hell? Was this what he deserved. Was god even re-
"Oh hey! We made it to the border!" He said cheerfully, "Is the train here?"
"This way, it's not that far." Sen stated again, as if Luc didn't just feel like he was pulling fangs from this short walk. She turned deeper towards twolegplace, and off they padded, for another agonizingly slow walk that would probably last until Sen's next post.
"Don't you FEEL it, things are taking forever. It's like I get it, we gotta walk to get there, but nothing INTERESTING is happening, why not just skip this and move on, why is my brain like this today?" It was possible to know who he was even asking for answers at this point and likely he didn't know either.
"I spent far too much time in far more boring situations than just walking." Which was true, Sen remembered sitting in a cell hearing screaming and talking to no one for days on end, with no change to anything. This was simple. "Ah, look, we're here. I told you it wouldn't take long."
